Good Budget Helmet

I bought this HJC C10 helmet on a reduced price deal to replace an old Shark budget helmet. I found it quieter than the Shark helmet, although I still wear earplugs (as everyone should!). It is comfortable and well made and the fit is exactly right for my head size. The flip up visor is not too stiff or slack to adjust if you want it raised while out riding. I bought it without the Pinlock but found that it could mist up a little when fully down (one notch up was better) so decided to buy the Pinlock which I have now fitted and that should solve the problem. However I did find the visor removal refit process a bit fiddly and uncertain. Otherwise ventilation OK. All in all a good purchase.

I tried on lots of helmets most of them were to heavy on my head. I tried this one I loved the design on it and it wasn’t heavy on my head, it was perfect for me.

The helmet is very comfortable and allows an easy fit. Furthmore it has lots of breathing space along with a nice sense of protection around the ears and neck.

The Helmet is a great fit for me and works a treat. a Pinlock is a must imo as unless i leave the visor open a smidge it does have a tendency to mist up in slow commuting around town. That said for the price and safety (ECE 22.06 and Sharp 4 star) it is well worth it.

I’ve just started riding motorbikes and this is my first helmet. It’s really comfortable and surprisingly lighter than what I was expecting! However knowing it Js the ECER22.06 rating it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing it’s a safe helmet!

Great mid range helmet

Comfortable and well vented.
I ended up removing the chin piece to enable more air flow to the visor as with a neck gator on the visor would mist up at lower speeds (Less than40 Mph), above that though it was fine with just the mouth piece vent open.
Only gripe is maybe I should have got a helmet with built in sunvisor.
The quick fasten strap is a real winner! Love that!!

I live in Canada but opted to buy the EU version as it has higher safety standards than the North American one. Was very impressed with build quality and comfort. Have not tried on bike yet but looking forward to it. Had the i10 before and this seems more comfortable. Love the attachment mechanism. Shipping was fast and I didn't pay any extra customs or processing fees in Canada.
