Motorcycle Helmets

I chose this helmet because Arai and Shoei were just outside my budget.

The fit of this helmet is like a tight glove! I followed the online size guide and measured my head myself. Right from the start, the helmet felt very tight, but it's just on the right side of snug. It's incredibly comfortable to wear. The drop-down visor is easy to operate, unlike some helmets where the chin button can be difficult to use, especially when stopped at a traffic light. This helmet uses a switch on top, which is great because you can operate it with both hands.

Contrary to some reviews, I found the ventilation to be sufficient. If I need extra airflow, I can slightly open the visor to let in more air.

The Pinlock system was very easy to install, thanks to the simple way the visor pops on and off the helmet.

The LED lights on the helmet are very bright, and the braking light function works perfectly. While some "old school" riders have teased me, saying it's unnecessary, I personally appreciate any extra visibility.

Helmet looks to be great quality for a mid-price product and I like the easy-to-use vents. Delivered the next day after ordering - usual excellent Sportsbikeshop service so no complaints from this customer :)

It's always difficult finding a new lid that fits, having worn a bell star for the last 4 years I though I would try another brand, ice had HJC in the past and always found them comfortable, I went for the small and medium size as I'm usually a small and head measured the very top limit of small, trying both lids on the difference wasn't massively noticeable, both felt tight in the right places but the small prob a tad too much, after wearing for an hour this was confirmed so I tried the med, and again after a while still felt good, the small and medium use the Sam's shell size so u can but inserts and swap if it does become too tight or sloppy in the future,
The noise cancelling is very good, the view is good and the visor is very clear, fitted my old sena and the integrated headphone ports helped, I also wear glasses sometimes so the cut out for specs is a nice touch,
The integrated sun visor is brilliant,
Allowing for sun shade when needed but full vision when the light gets low, better than carting a spare visor for me, it seems to cool well but won't know for sure till summer hits, at present seems like a good buy ?

This is another Shoei helmet for me. The Shoei helmet shape fits my head well and this one fits well. Ventilation is good, cheek pads provide a snug fit. Pinlock keeps the misting away on cold days. Installing a non Shoei headset may be a little challenging. My one criticism; on previous Shoei helmets you could leave the visor slightly cracked open with a small plastic lever on one side, but this one has nothing. It is suggested that you can just open the visor slightly and it will stay there, but it doesn't. May have to think about a work-around. Prompt delivery from SBS/DPD, who actually knock on the door.
