Spencer Lewis
Bristol Store Manager
Inspired as a baby by a Harley Davidson, Spencer has been riding since he was 17. A fan of sportsbikes and trackdays, Spencer owns a Yamaha R7 but is currently bike shopping. With no car licence he’s out all year in all weathers, so while he’d love another race rep, it’s actually a comfy commuter that’s on his radar next. The desire for a big fairing, heated grips and waterproof hard luggage being more important than lap times at present.

Streets ahead of the competition
Mar 26, 2026 by Michael
Pretty much every biker that I know, when asked about kit or even if the subject just comes up in conversation, mentions that the Sportsbikeshop is the place to go. And my experiences fully support that view.
I've dealt almost exclusively with the Bristol branch and have come to rely on the staff there. In terms of product knowledge, an understanding and appreciation of my needs and the personability of in particular Spencer, but all of his team provide, a level of customer service that other similar outlets I have visited simply can't match.
It is not hyperbole to say that I can't recall being made to feel quite so welcome, and then to be advised and assisted without being patronised. Somehow, Spencer has managed to create a team where they work with and customers to understand and meet their needs. Spencer's unfailing ability to 'go the extra' mile in helping me find what I both needed and wanted was and is very much appreciated. I like many, many others am convinced that in terms of competitive pricing, model range, stock availability and perhaps most importantly customer service, SBS Bristol is simply excellent in what they do and how they do it.
And a special 'shout out' and thanks to Ben in the Support department. He is seriously impressive in all that he does to support staff to deliver that famed customer service.
Ordered a pair of Oxford boots online
Mar 11, 2026 by Andy Bellamy
Ordered a pair of Oxford boots online, didn’t fit, more my fault as medication causes swollen ankles, return was easy, with really no questions. Decided to visit the shop in Bristol, very local thankfully, the lads in there couldn’t do enough to find the right boot for me but still had issues with swollen ankles. Decided to get back online and order my first pair of short boots, these arrived very quickly and have to say fit a treat. The Bristol shop even opened the Soundbomb box to let me view the size to fit on my Z900RS, thank you all.

Fantastic service and products, ordered a suit that was a tad big, took it to Bristol where they exchanged it with no issues. Staff were super helpful. Great experience.
