Keep your baby dry and cosy. Oxford Protex Stretch Outdoor Bike Cover
21 November 2024 by Thomas M
The protex stretch is the best cover Oxford have ever made. I've had 8 others over the years.
Fits like a glove and a nice touch is the elasticated bottom.

Brilliant and cheapOxford Alarm-D Lock
21 November 2024 by Adam R
Works good, a bit bulky so a good visual deterrent. Easy to use BUT - the yellow rubber moves around and needs to be readjusted before putting the shaft back in. A bit annoying but nothing a bit of glue or tape can't fix. Hence 4 stars

Hot GarbageDaytona Motorcycle Intelligent Heated Grips With Heat Control & Battery Protection
21 November 2024 by Andy
Good points - grips are very very hot, almost too hot. After testing them they started to smell like burning but this could be normal. The battery cut off also works very well, I watched the voltage drop just under 12v and they immediately turned themselves off.
The bad -
The manual says to test them but for no longer than a couple of minutes for safety reasons - why?
It also says you cannot connect them directly to the battery, then on the next page gives you specific instructions on how to connect them directly to the battery - very confusing.
The wiring included in this set is very cheap, I don't think I've seen a smaller gauge wire used for an item such as this, its so thin the smallest amount of pressure will break it which is what happened to me when I tried to get the protective sleeve off. The wiring has no connectors on the end so regardless of how you intend to connect them you are going to have to know how and have the tools to crimp the wires to whatever connector you use. Its also bare so looks cheap and exposed to the elements if you are unable to hide it completely within the fairing.
After an hour of trying to get theming working with my auxiliary connector I realised the inline fuse had blown. Wish I had checked this fist as I have no idea if the grips are faulty or another issue.
I could have got them working by removing the fuse and butchering the wiring but at this price why should I? Really in this day manufacturers should be giving us modular connectors to let the customer decide how to connect the grips.
If this set was £50 I could excuse it but for £100 its getting sent back. Avoid.
