Stuart first got into bikes while working at one of the industry’s biggest wholesalers, where he spent nearly 30 years in the trade. His first motorcycle was a Kawasaki AR125 2-stroke, but he also enjoys all things off-road – even tackling the trails of Sardinia on a KTM 300 EXC! Away from bikes, Stuart’s a music lover who never says no to karaoke, a keen gamer when time allows, and a foster parent who values family life above all else.

Popped into the new Southampton store today with an issue with my previously purchased Nolan helmet. I Was helped by Jackson and Arron. They were both great. They were friendly from start to finish, knew their stuff and got the helmet sorted whilst I had a cuppa and had a look around. Great customer service. Will be using Sportsbikeshop and the Southampton store for all my bike bits in the future. Great staff and store.

If only all customer experience was as good as SBS. The new Southampton SBS store is superb - spacious, well stocked and laid out, terrific facilities...but above all, the friendliest and most helpful people. The manager, Stuart Milne, is a credit to SBS and a great example of what customer service should be about. Ive been a customer of SBS for many years and cannot think of a single reason why I would go anywhere else. The try and buy service is also brilliant... no pressure, just a real opportunity to buy the right item. Great all round.

Attended Southampton yesterday and ended up purchasing several items . The guys knowledge was second to none. They also gave a further discount on the items . To top it off I arrived with a large toolbox to place a new helmet and screen in , suffice it would not fit in . The guys lent me a tool box and Tony one of your amazing employees helped me fit the new screen. Amazing staff and so nice in this day and age to be treated with a smile and valuable help. Well done Sportsbike shop. Your staff are a credit to u .

Is everything online available in-store?

Our stores have a very good selection of our most popular products, and for everything else you can use our ‘Try on or Buy’ system to have the items shipped to store ready for your arrival. Providing it’s in stock online, it’ll be there next day in-store for you, 7 days a week - no payment required, and we’ll let you know when it lands. It’s that simple!

*Can you fit my intercom for me?

As a helmet specialist, we’re happy to advise on the fitting of an intercom for your new helmet, and we’re also happy to do the fitting for you when timing allows – please just bear with us at peak times as you may need to leave it with us! Alternatively, you can always schedule a drop-off with us so we can ensure we have plenty of time to help. Please note though, that fitting new intercoms to older helmets is not always possible, as there may be compatibility issues that can lead to damage being caused during the fitting process. We also ask that your helmet is thoroughly cleaned prior to us fitting your intercom.

Can I check if an item is in stock before visiting a store?

Yes! Our website will tell you if an item is in stock at a store. To avoid disappointment, you can also send items to any store to ‘Try on or Buy’. Most items, if available at our warehouse, can be delivered to store next day. No payment required!

What payment methods do you accept in store?

Payment can be made by debit/credit card including American Express, and cash. We also offer Klarna finance in all stores. Whilst we accept PayPal on our website PayPal do not currently have an in-store payment method.

I purchased something online; can I return it to a store?

Sure! Provided the product is in original unused condition in line with our returns policy, your online order can be returned to any of our stores.

Can I telephone the store?

Although our stores don’t have their own dedicated phone number, our customer service team will be happy to help on 01205 360099 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Saturday.

Are dogs allowed in-store?

We understand that dogs are a part of many people's lives, and we welcome well-behaved dogs in our stores. We kindly ask though that you keep your furry friend on a leash at all times. Please also be mindful of other customers who may not be comfortable around dogs. If your dog becomes disruptive or we feel it poses a safety concern, we may kindly ask that you take your pet out of the store. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to serving you and your furry companion!

I’m on my bike, can you ship my purchase to my home?

Of course! No charge for orders over £25.

Do you offer custom helmet fitting?

Absolutely! We can switch cheek pads and skull liners to help ensure you get the very best fit. Currently this is available for Arai and Schuberth, as well as Shoei for which we offer the Shoei Personal Fitting System (PFS) at selected stores. If you’d like to book-in a fitting, just contact us to arrange an appointment.
