DXR Kruger CE Leather Boots - Black

My first foray into adventure style boots after 50+ years of riding. First priority was protection and staying dry and warm. The design is right at a bargain price. I wanted the long length and uncluttered inner aspect. i.e. all flaps/fastenings to outside away from pegs and levers. Check! Fit I would say is true to size and for me feel just right around my feet. Snug and comfortable and well lined. Check! Easy to get into but adjustment of straps mildly fiddly but achieves a nice tailored snugness to legs once sorted. Check. Sturdy as hell and reassuringly robust feel though material is stiff. Hoping they will wear in with use. Thus far at the price point I am well pleased.

Not the boot for walking around in, but very comfortable and secure feeling on the bike, not tested waterproofing but not expecting them to repel the elements at the price. great value

I was looking for my first adventure style boots and didn't want to spend too much. I came across these on SBS and took a punt as they were silly cheap for the specs. Well, first use on ACT Wales section on a very wet weekend. 500 mile adventure trip in very wet weather. They were comfortable, saved my legs from a few knocks and my feet were the only dry part of me. oh yeah, the look the part too.

Love these boots, bought for touring, sturdy yet comfortable and so warm, not tested the waterproofing yet but definitely recommend..

Bought these as my old boots were giving up after many years service, as I have an adventure style bike I looked at the same style of boots, given that these were a good £50 cheaper than similar looking boots and not sure I would get on with this type of boot I gave them a go I have just come back from a three day tour of the east coast of England and Hadrians wall and can honestly say on and off the bike these are very comfortable I haven't yet (fortunately) tested them in the wet but as I wear them for commuting too I am sure I will find out and update accordingly, build wise they seem sturdy enough especially the clips. Definitely worth a look/purchase in my opinion

Great for the price

Not a bad punt for £80. Didn't want to spend hundreds for a sport I'd possibly give up after a day (off road riding). One day's wear saw 150 miles on road, plus a few hours off road. Torrential rain, flood water, mud, gravel, and everything in between! Feet remained dry and warm! Really comfortable and supportive boot, decent armour, decent soles (that haven't been chewed up by the adv pegs). Potentially a little neat on size - couldn't find any brand in my price bracket doing an adult's 39 so got these in the 40 and they fit fine.

Very happy with my boots came on time perfectly packaged fantastic quality boots I have used sportsbikeshop again since and will continue to use thank you

Really good value boots, comfortable, the catches are a bit flimsy when open.

The boots look solid but as with other reviewers the right boot causes ankle pain but the main problem is I wore the boots today in the wet and they are definitely not waterproof, both boots filled with water and when worn off the bike the water came out through the welt and the leather

DEFINITELY NOT WATERPROOF

Pretty tough feeling boots and very comfortable on the bike now I've worn them a few times. I would say that the plastic clasps feel a little flimsy and I find the right boot pinches the side of my ankle when walking, but other than that they are great. I've worn them in the rain a couple of times too with no leaks, so happy there (one of those trips was in more rain than I've seen in a long time). Overall, recommended for the price and very comfortable when riding.

These boots feel solid and strong great especially for the price and have been fine in the rain so far, not sure if it is all adventure boots but they're quite tight around my calfs but maybe my calfs are unusually large for my foot size

OK for price, one boot really comfortable the other feels different and rubs ankle.
Hopefully will break in with use

They are waterproof - tested!
The buckles are a low quality
The sole hasn't been gouged by the enduro spiked foot pegs.
The right boot still rubs after 3 uses, left was fine from the get go.

Just a few rides so far but seem very good and comfortable

Replacing a pair of RST that split within 3 years of light use

Usual excellent Sportsbikeshop and DPD delivery, like the fact with DPD you can specify a place for drivers to leave them in
