Boots look like a quality item. They're quite tight around the ankle and calf, especially considering I have narrow feet, but seem to be breaking in and loosening up. The zip tag broke off both boots almost immediately but doesn't matter. Worn them today for about the 4th time and they're starting to become comfortable and have been waterproof so far. Easy to walk in, look good and can still change gear in them, unlike some overly chunky boots. Bargain for the price.

DXR Skoga boots - an absolute steal!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these boots for one moment, so they may not be high end or have mega triple safety ratings, but after trying on 4 or 5 different waterproof boots at wildly different price points in the boston store (helpful staff, many thanks) these DXRs were an absolute revelation really. It's subjective but, they are supremely comfortable on and off my bike straight out the box, have protection that's where its needed but doesn't impede movements or feel noticeable, having ridden for 2hrs in biblical rain last weekend they kept my feet dry...nuff said. I didn't set out to buy a really cheap set of boots but they were so markedly more comfortable than other market leading offerings with all of the features you need but nothing more, it was a no brainer for me. Size wise I actually went down one as I found them to run a bit large. Fit is great as the toe area is quite broad and the heels internal cup shape does its job and gives your foot proper contact when your on the pegs. They appear well made with good strong stitching, an easy zip with vector tab, and reinforced panels on both left and right boots. Nicely styled in my opinion and for the money if I get a couple of seasons out of them I'll be delighted, may even get another pair as they're such a bargain. Highly recommended.

Bought these to replace 22 year old ones. I bought a half size up but still a tight fit though comfortable enough, I am hoping that they loosen up with wear. A sturdy well made boot with good protection. Half the price of my previous ones so a win win I reckon.

I am always concerned when buying motorcycle boots as I find that they are tight on the calves. However these fitted fine although one of the zips is a little stiff to operate I am sure it will loosen with use.

Skoga boots

At the cheaper end of available boots. On arrival the boots were better on quality than my expectations were and I am delighted with the quality and comfort. Service from Sportsbikeshop was excellent and an exchange for larger size was expedited quickly, and I was delighted with the service. Best to order a larger size than for shoes as they do come up on the small side.

Bought to replace my old boots, these were tight for the size (suggest next size up) but not uncomfortable. Easy to get on and off and very waterproof in the recent wet weather. Service was excellent. Ordered at 10am on Saturday and were delivered by 3pm on Monday

If you're looking at these boots buy them. Honestly they are good all round boots decent quality and waterproof. Size wise, fit perfect and true to size , you could do with a size up if you have larger width feet, but fit perfect anyway. Comfy, warm. As usual brilliant service and experience with sportsbikeshop.

I had to adjust my gear lever

I don't know if this is a problem with the boots or the way my gear lever was set up. I had been rifing previously in wellington boots and had no problem with the gear change. When I wore these boots I found that unless I pointed my toe down to the ground after changing up a gear, the next gear change resulted in the clutch being let out and the bike being in the same gear. I adjusted the gear linkage so that this didn't happen but it now seems a little high when my foot is on top of the gear change lever.

I bought the boots in the shop at Leeds and from the amount of boots I tried on, I would recommend visiting a shop as it appears the sizing of some boots were way off. Even with this pair, I first tried the size larger and thought they feel OK but I'd like to try the smaller size just to see how they compare. I thought I would end up taking the larger pair but the smaller ones felt better so I bought them!

Comfy straight out of the box

These were comfy straight out of the box but I always order one size up in motorcycle boots. Comfy to ride in and walk in. They do keep your feet warm. I haven't tested them in the rain yet.

These boots appear to be well made, are comfortable and have kept the water out so far. The conversion table provided by SBS in the description is a more accurate way of choosing the right size (i.e. 45 = 10 as oppose to the usual 44). They do lack a bit of protection when compared with top end products but are much lighter as a result and more than suitable for sensible, everyday riding. The absence of animal skin benefits the environment whilst leaves your conscience clear - proving that leather is an unnecessary cruelty that we can and should leave behind now.

Comfortable and stylish boots

I needed to replace my old boots which I'd had for many years, but didn't want to spend hundreds as my annual mileage is low now.
These got good reviews which I agree with, they're not too heavy and are very comfortable to walk around in. I take a 9 in shoes so ordered size 44, the label says UK10 but they are a snug fit.
