Good ankle protection. Good quality. Solid boot. Wide sole.
The shoe's leather pushes against your ankle when you wear this boot.
Therefore I feel pain in my left fibula because I had a metal planted in my left fibula. If you don't have a metal fibula, those boots are fine. I wish I could get a refund because I just wore it once.

Quality is excellent, fit is perfect for me and price is unbeatable. Bought to replace a pair of touring boot with less protection (now do light off road) and find these have great ankle support and allow move of foot when standing on the foot pegs. Easy to walk in when off the bike, no squeaking, the soles offer good grip and are quality. They are waterproof and do not make my feet sweat. The buckles are very, very easy to use and adjust for a good secure fit. Highly recommend.

Wonderful boots. Felt instantly comfortable as soon as I put them on and even straight from the box easy to walk in. Great fit for me, I have wide size 11 feet, and these are true to size. Superb support and protection for the lower leg but note these are not true off-road boots, more of a touring boot. Get SG12s if you need a true off-road boot. Dry well made, quality boot that also look gorgeous - highly recommend.

I've been a biker for over 30 years and had a lot of boots. These are up there with the best. Fit is good I'm an 8 1/2 so went for 43. I've done about 300 miles in them so far in both hot days and rain storms and they cope well with all conditions. I suspect in those really hot days they will make my feet sweat as no ventilation, a trade off for waterproofing. I chose these over the Sidis as I wanted to try something different and was impressed with build quality and fit. Would recommend them.

Excellent boots. Super comfy and feel like a well made boot. Supporting stiff soles and ankles. Yet to test in rain!

I always struggle to find comfortable motorcycle boots. I dont have obscurely shaped feet so I am not sure why but with these I ordered a whole size up on my usual size and they were supremely comfortable straight out of the box.

Very high quality and great value, really pleased with them, so much so that I am likely to order them in black shortly too.

Not really had the opportunity to use these in anger yet, so it is difficult for me to give them 5* at the moment.... That may change. First impressions are good. They are good quality and feel comfortable. If you have restricted ankle movement they may be difficult to get on, but that applies to many boots. At least they do not squeak like a herd of mice like the Sidi Adventure 2 whist walking.

I bought these for a trip to India - I would be riding from Delhi to Leh in Ladakh and around the area, high passes partly off road in poor conditions so I wanted a very protective boot that was also waterproof and breathable as it had to cope with 32C heat in Delhi up to -6C in Leh and the area.
They proved to be absolutely perfect, once worn in they were extremely comfortable, even for walking around Delhi in the heat for a few days, despite not being designed for that. The support makes walking easy but the ankle can't bend sideways or over extend. The fastening means they are very easy to put on and off, easy to adjust and stay at the correct tension all day.
The material is easy to clean with a brush, flexible yet strong. Highly recommended.

It took ages for me to decide whether or not to give these a try, but I am so glad I did!
They fit perfectly and are like gloves for your feet, so wearing in required for me and they are so comfortable right out of the box!
Clasps are good and clunky and feel firm and like they will last and are solid boots, made with super great materials and well put together.
I had Sidi Adventure 2 boots to try but they were awful, too thin and stiff as you like, but the Dakar boots are so much better. Stiff soles up to the ball of your feet which is great but from there they are pliable and moveable and I would hesitate to walk quite a bit in them.
A great pair of boots, well made, extremely comfortable and durable and look like they are built to last!
