As l've been wearing Spada Boots, similar to these, for some years, l thought ordering a new pair would be simple. However, the 43 size was impossible to even put my foot through the hole, so, as l was passing, ordered a 44 size 'try on' at the Milton Keynes outlet. Perfect fit, if slightly longer. Found my gear lever had to be raised slightly, as the toe area was higher. The quality under the zip, and the velcro strap, are made of better material than my old ones, which perished. Otherwise, don't notice l'm wearing them.

Really great boots. Stylish and comfortable but order one size bigger than your ordinary shoe size. Really great service from Sportsbikeshop. Had to change them due to sizing - all went great and speedy. Much recommended.

Was a little sceptical buying a short boot as always used to having full shin protection. Should not have worried as I got used to then after the first week. Boots are very sturdy and hit the spot on the quality front. They are difficult to put on due to being tight but this will free up as they get used.

Really surprised, these are excellent quality for the price. Fit and finish is way above what I'd expect, and they're comfortable right out of the box. I'm a pretty standard UK8 and the 8/42 fit me snugly with medium weight socks - I'd have to go one size up for thick, winter ones. Haven't tested in rain yet, but I ride a scooter, so not a massive issue for me. Will be considering other Spada kit on the strength of these.

These boots are just what I was looking for, smart strong and easy fit. My issue is with my feet! They're big and just fit into my usual size (46) so puling the boots on is tough, and so is getting them off. I hope they will give in time so I will be able to put the insoles back in which I had to remove.

Regular Daytona boots don't close over leathers and leathers don't close over the boots Tried several short boots,a few cheaper and most more expensive but these give the neatest fiit. Whilst not quite Daytona standard they are well made and very good value.

Very happy with my purchase. I wanted shorter boots to walk around in when off the bike. They are well made and are quite stylish. Comfortable to wear, full height gusset, protection for heel, toe, sole and ankle. A real bargain I thought. Happy days!

Was thinking about purchasing the Spada Icon boots (or similar) as I would like a short boot to go with my Kevlar Jeans. I normally take a UK size 7. Would you recommend going up a size to an 8 or would a 7 be sufficient? Thanks Keith
