Gore-Tex not keeping out water? There's a different procedure to getting it sorted, and here's an explainer...
Having been suffering from numb fingers I wanted warm gloves that still gave good feel.
The Jet Road V2 gloves deliver this and are very comfortable.
Palm circumference indicated an XL but trying them on at the Boston store resulted in 2XL.
Alpinestar recommend a slightly tight fit as there will be some loosening in use.
The armour feels very protective without being cumbersome. Not yet tested in rain but otherwise a strong and comfortable glove.
They run slightly small compared to the sizing guide. However are nicely waterproof and warm.
The best fitting gloves I ever had. Warm and comfortable. Over the cuff blocks the wind. Great feel and moveability. Can't beat em!
I purchased the Mk1 of these back in 2017 and they are still waterproof, but after rigorous use they're starting to show signs of age.
I've purchased the Mk2 based on the performance of the Mk1. They feel great but like any new glove, it needs some time to soften up.
So far, no issues.
Bought them to replace my Alpinestar T-SPw which were absolutely rubbish... This new ones seems better quality z are waterproof (the otherone were meant to but were always leaking) and are very comfortable.
Great product! Fit well, which I always worry about as I have small hands, I got Small size and they fit great, nice & snug. Keeps my hands and fingers toasty in harsh cold weather. Job well done for me. Not experienced any heavy rain yet but i have no doubt they'll do their job.
- Also found them cheaper elsewhere and Sportsbikeshop had no problem reducing the price! Fantastic :)
Perfect size fit, really comfortable and breaths great.
Used the gloves for the first time yesterday and fitted great. Weather not to bad yesterday so tougher tests to come.
Always had alpinestars but tryed some knox zero 3 and found they just didn't keep my hands as warm as my old alpinestars so went back to good old alpinestars and so far so good hand been kept nice and warm and dry every day on my 40 mile commute
The sizes appear to run a bit big (I was on the border of a large and extra large, originally went for the extra large but they were huge - I could've comfortably worn an MX glove underneath) but Sportsbikeshop's exchange program made that easy to sort. I was looking for a winter glove for longer trips and these haven't disappointed so far, keeping my hands and even my fingertips warm enough at low British winter temperatures on a bike without heated grips. Not too bulky either, just the trick.
Very well made, nicely styled and thoughtfully designed.
I like the subtle reflective strips, and the different textured forefinger and index-finger tips (for slippery modern smart phones).
Unfortunately, couldn't find the right size for me (M too small in the palm, L too long in the finger).
Excellent service from SBS.
No doubt these Gloves keep your hands toasty and completely waterproof.
