Simpson Venom Carbon

Nice looking helmet, tight but comfortable and build quality really good. It's a big helmet, much larger profile than the Caberg carbon helmet it replaces, and it is much noisier- lots of wind noise which is pretty annoying and will probably force me to wear ear plugs. Vents really good, first full face helmet I have had where you can actually feel the air flow on your head and face with the visor closed. Got to say I preferred the Caberg, but it may grow on me over time

Love the look of this lid, it's really light....however...a few issues.

The red tab on the double d chin strap broke off the first time I used it, simple to fix but on a £300+ helmet..?

It's noisy at speeds over 40mph...Wear ear plugs.

Despite these.....still love the thing..!!

Not had very long Helmet very light and quiet lots of air flow pinlock in box excellent no fogging at all in heavy rain visor we'll sealed brilliant view great all round helmet.

Loved the look of this Crash Helmet ! When it arrived (well within 24hrs ) removed it from the box and loved it even more! It was very light, was a good tight fit. Then, promptly removed all the internal lining to fit my interphone intercom . No problems fitting that at all . Went for a blast on the bike and then things went a bit downhill . The noise was quite deafening, a constant hum from the left hand side where the visor fits. So what ! I can put up with that with earplugs ! Waste of time fitting the Interphone it seems.There is a small amount buffeting when the speed exceeds 50mph but again not too uncomfortable .I had ordered a dark visor from somewhere else which arrived the next day, it looks awesome! Not as comfortable or as quite than the Sharks I have but all in all looks the mutz !
