Ordered my normal size and the first time i wore them they were a touch tight but after wearing them a few times they gave a bit and fit just right now. As expected they are quality.

Good solid sturdy boots, recommend your normal size fits well. Long laces but just tuck them inside.

Fantastic fit, extremely comfortable, definitely waterproof! Unfortunately field proven- 250+ miles in torrential rain! Only annoyance is one of the laces sticking to the Velcro when tying them!

Before I begin keep in mind that I went in expecting a high quality, well thought design since they're Alpinestars boots and not some no name brand I hadn't heard of.

In all fairness, the boots match the description on the page 100%, they're waterproof, comfortable, warm and look good but I have a few gripes with them nonetheless.

First, order the size you usually wear. Other reviews said they fit large but I have found that to not be true. Initially ordered size 11 and then had to go up one to size 12.

Second, the material they're made from looks really good while in the box but it's very sticky so they get dirty really easy. Besides this, I've had them for two weeks and the material is already showing creases around the toe box and the heel.

Third, the shoelaces are extremely long in comparison with how much of them you're going to use. I thought the laces would go all the way up under the Velcro strap as well but they don't. The hoops stop around the same height as a normal sneaker's would which makes it impossible to get a tight fit.

Fourth, the Velcro strap holds it's own very well and it sticks and stays there but given the situation with the shoelaces I would've preferred a d-ring setup at the top so that I could use the strap to tighten them up. Like this, they're very tight on the foot below the ankle and a bit too loose for my taste up top around the sheen. I have huge doubts these will hold your ankle in place in the event of a crash.

In conclusion, they're good boots but they're not great. The shoelaces bother me the most. I think that the shoelaces might be so long so that you can loop them around your foot and then tie them (that's how I do it now) but to be hones, it doesn't look good at all if you wear your trousers inside the boots'.
