Verified Customer Reviews for ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Lubricant 13oz / 370ml Aerosol
Customers consistently praise ACF-50 for its effective corrosion protection, especially for motorcycles during winter months. Many emphasize its ease of use and long-term success in preventing rust. Some reviewers highlight its superior penetration and capillary action, and prefer applying it with a brush or cloth. A few note issues with the aerosol spray, which tends to splatter rather than mist. Overall, it's considered an essential product for maintaining mechanical items against corrosion.
Been using ACF 50 for 5 years and it is outstanding for keeping my bikes looking new and in pristine condition. However, this spray version was not so good - it just refused to come out the can at any usable rate, even after warming up. I still highly recommend the product - just not in an aerosol can.
Hot on a deal. Great at protecting bike during winter months.
Easy to apply and appears to be effective at protecting things.
I tend to spray a bit on a small area and spread with a rag.
Good product. easy to apply. Spray on, wipe over. Arrived in good time.
Better than that other lot!
Brilliant product, you would struggle to get anything better to protect your bike
Use regularly, stops rust
Excellent product for all weather motorcycling. Speedy delivery from Sportsbikeshop.
I wipe down the bike regularly with ACF50 it is a must have especially if you keep the bike outside, good on all surfaces except brakes as it's a lubricant.
A product by which all others should be measured.
Purchased this after reading a number of reviews. I own a NC750X which is stored outside all year round with a cover, which started to have rust build-up on some of the nuts and bolts etc, I kept rubbing it down every few weeks but the rust would return.
Sprayed some ACF-50 on all the exposed areas which I knew were repeat offenders and so far so good, Non of the rust has returned. Admittedly we are finally getting some warmer weather so time will tell long term, but seem confident that the rust will be kept to a minimum when applying again later this year for next winter.
The spray wasn't too bad, managed to get it in the right places. Sprayed it on an old rag when applying to areas near the rear brake to avoid lubricating the disk/pads.
Have seen others discuss the price, but I think it's very reasonable considering it's protecting your bike from rust build-up, potentially saving a lot more in future replacement parts.
I am riding daily in any weather & using ACF 50 for three years now
and it does what it says it does
As the title states, it's obviously the go to stuff for bike owners these days, so hard to find at a reasonable price, you're certainly not going to find it in poundland,
Great service from SportsBikeShop as usual, thanks guys
I love ACF-50 (I ride all winter and it works) and these cans are convenient to use. As long as they are at room temp or a bit above you get a good spray. You do pay for the convenience though, as the bottle option with a small pump bottle is a lot cheaper per treatment.
Goes on well, just don't need to use too much. Suggest using a rag to spread it around so it doesn't just drip on the floor. Used a detailing brush too to get in all the nooks and crannies.
Time will tell how durable this is compared to product claims and other reviews, but does the job well.
Great stuff. If they can use this on planes its good enough for my bikes
Got the spray as it seemed to be the cheapest option for ACF-50.
However I would not recommend the spray can to anyone - it's quite a "point" spray where you'd want an "area" spray. Also the nozzle likes to leak the liquid so the process becomes messy quite quickly.
Can't speak of it's properties as it's been freshly applied. Winter will tell.
I already use ACF50 and I bought the pump spray. The problem is that it is a 'point' spray and it bounces off and doesn't always cover what I want it to. The aerosol is easier for some areas and gives a more even coverage.
