Would these fit safely and securely on an MT07. Is there a need for any framework? If not, how are they secured?

As these are a universal fitment we are not able to advise as to whether you would need a saddlebag tubular holder - however, Givi do recommend the TE2118 holder for the Easylock or soft side bags. The bags feature a rapid lock system with Velcro belts and a safety central belt.

Could these work (be thrown over and secured on) well with Givi TE2115 Easy Lock Pannier Rails for Yamaha MT-09?

These would work with the TE2115 holders. If you do not have the 2115FZ rear rack, you would also need the 2115 KIT to fit the TE2115 to your MT09.

Fitted on a BMW S1000XR Gen 2

Did a 10 days trip across Europe and around the Alps, the usual mountain passes. Filled up the with all my gear. After playing around with them for a while I was able to find a nice placement for the bags on my XR, and secured them.
Pros: Can get quite a lot in; quality seems very good for the price; after my trip, I cant see any damage at all, I was taking them off and on the bike everyday; the bungee cords are very useful, use them to secure the bags; rain covers are OK (see my CONS below); very good value for the price. My mates paid almost triple the amount for similar bags from another well known manufacturer, SW M...
CONS: Gave it 4 stars due to the following; As others have mentioned, it's not waterproof at all and the covers don't do a good job at the back and inside of the bag, where the bag is exposed. I used compression bags for all my gear, so my things were dry. However, the bags were wet and water had collected at the bottom of the bag (while riding in light rain). Also, the cover itself, at the bottom, lots of water had collected from the spray of the rear tyres. It takes a few minutes to secure the bags, and at times I wished I had the stock solid panniers, but they cost 5x more! Overall, Highly recommended if you are on a decent budget, and it's GIVI, quality is there.

Great value bags

The design of these bags and general quality is fantastic, as to be expected from Givi. And at this price point they seem a great choice for people like myself who will only infrequently be using panniers for trips away/camping.

As other reviewers have mentioned these won't hold up to a downpour, and the covers do leave the rear of the bags slightly exposed. This could be overcome by using a thin drybag inside these.

The fitment probably will work ok for a substantial amount of bikes without the need for additional rack. However for my f900xr I can't seem to find a way to get these on securely without buying the rack TE5137.

I've given these a 4 as overall they are great value for money but just seems a bit of ambiguity around how these fit.

The quality of the panniers was much better than I expected for the price. Reasonably easy to fit to my MT07 - more trial and error rather than using the instructions. Looks great on the Bike.

Good quality panniers that should fit any bike with a bit of creativity! Fixing points and straps seem adequate and although quite slim, they do expand when necessary. Not sure how waterproof they would be in heavy rain (put your gear in a plastic bag), but fine for the odd shower.

Purchased for my honda cb500 and they fit perfectly. I can fit plenty in them and the quality is fantastic. I was going to get a cheap set from amazon but so glad I went for these. Also come with a 2 year warranty so that's a bonus.

Initially got the bigger size (40L) as on offer but sent them back because too big on my bike (kawasaki er6).
This ones did fit right on but with tail tidy it won't be placed back enough to let a pillion use footpegs (rear blinkers in the way). They look quite good on the bike and got plenty of room.

Bad sides:
- not sure how to use the short bungee straps provided. I used tie down straps that did keep the panniers in place but require quite a bit of time to remove/mount and got in the way when opening the bags.
- even with waterproof thingy on - in a scottish downpour - everything got wet as water gets in from the part facing the inner side. I did end up using resealable plastic bag inside the panniers rather than the cover.

Quality kit at a great price

Bought these for a weekend trip and didn't expect much.
Bags fitted my Z750 well without the need for frames or a rack. I used the bungees supplied and additional roc straps to secure.
Covers will keep out light rain but hold in water from the back wheel. If using in rain I suggest using internal dry bags to protect your kit.
Overall great value at under £90.

Bought these for my Z1000SX.
Easy to fit, great quality and they look great when fitted. I use these for when I commute to work. (Shoes, notebook laptop, shirt and trousers fit with ease)
My only criticism is that the opening isn't quite big enough to get a helmet in which is a shame as when expanded they would fit one in. Other than that should be perfect for a weekend away.
Because they are soft panniers they don't take too much space when stored either. A great cost effective alternative to hard, chunky panniers if you cannot justify paying £400+

Giving panniers

good set of semi rigid panniers. I bought them to replace buffalo set. they have simple fit system and its saddle off. measure it and adjust straps really.
I used two bungees to secure the bottom loops and stop sway at speed. no movement at all and can take a good bit of kit.
waterproof covers work as panniers are behind your legs anyway.
