Good fit for hand and fingers but tight to get on and off due to the self tightening strap at the wrist. Very warm. Can't comment on how waterproof they are as not ridden in rain yet.
The gloves themselves are built and fit really well. Unfortunately the revit jacket I've got pushed the gloves forward due to the inner gator system. Also getting the second glove on and comfortable with that inner gator system was very hard. I had to return,
Not compatible with an IPhone screen - this would have been a minor issue, albeit a desirable feature, had the sizing not been way off. Having ordered and returned three pairs in increasing sizes, I gave up.
I had three pairs of these gloves delivered by SBS in steadily increasing sizes. The gloves felt like they would be ok if any of them had fit - even the largest size (two sizes bigger than I normally wear) were too tight to wear comfortably.
'Touch Screen Compatible' glove tip was not (Iphone X) - this was the final straw for me; ordered a different make and model from SBS
Really well made high quality gloves, as you'd expect for that price. Very warm and not too bulky comparatively for a winter glove. They have a snug tailored fit like my other Rev'it gloves. I will say however, that if you have particularly chunky hands, you might find the wrist fastening mechanism awkward or too tight. The double cuff system can be a bit of a faff if you're just popping out to the shop or something but once they're on they do the job well!
Not too bulky, controls easily reached, wind, wet and cold protection good.
Excellent gloves. Very warm compared to all others I have cheap and expensive. You need to get use to it how use the waterproof layer properly and that auto close mechanism is useless and makes it hard to put it on so I just cut it off and now is perfect. Very happy with them.
Had to return. I haven't been able to put the right glove on, just managed the left with a struggle.
Reason being, the strap mechanism on the wrist is so short, the opening to the glove is too small to get my hand in.
The quality of materials however looks exceptional. Very disappointed I cant use them. Re'vit, give me a call please. You are losing sales!
Was looking forward to getting these gloves. I did my research and picked them based on the thermal lining and claimed good cold performance.
First time I used them, was in 6 degree C, clear weather. After about an hour the ends of my index fingers and thumbs were numb. But the rest of my hands stayed nice and warm, and not sweaty at all. I haven't used them in the wet / snow yet, so I'm not going to write them off just yet.
The glove fingers are also quite bulky, so takes a bit more concentration to manipulate the levers.
Realistically, the only way to properly keep your hands warm in winter is with heated grips / gloves / hand guards.
With that in mind, I think these are a good alternative, but for the high price, I was hoping for a bit more warmth.
I think they're still a good alternative, though, if heated grips/etc aren't possible. Customer Service from SPORTSBIKESHOP, as usual, was spot on.
Rode for 2 hours in torrential rain in December and these gloves kept my hands dry and relatively warm. They are lacking a bit of feel compared to other gloves but they probably make up for that in weatherproofing and protection and the closing system takes a bit of getting used to. Overall I'm very happy with them.
I purchased these to keep my fingers warm and hands dry and these certainly do the job. I got caught in a torrential rainstorm on a 150 mile trip and my hands stayed dry and warm, practically on the only bit of me that did! I haven't used them in freezing conditions yet but I'm sure they will be fine.
My only very slight issue is the adjustment for the gauntlet is a little difficult to release once the gloves are on. That's probably why they have added a zip to help removal as well.
All in all an excellent glove and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone in the market for a top end textile glove that's weatherproof and protective.
