The Richa name goes back to the 1950s and its motorcycle heritage began in 1977 when the founder's son, Luc Rigaux, started making bike clothing under the name of the family business. Richa has gone from strength to strength in the years since, becoming the biggest manufacturer of bike clothing in the Benelux countries. Richa, which is pronounced Reesha, has partnered with some of the biggest technical companies in the world, introducing D3O armour to their range in 2014, and following that up the following year with the prized Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. Nice fit and holds out the water. Not overly used it as weather not been too wet. I have faith it will do its job as I previously used the rain warrior jacket and this one seems to be a better quality.

These trousers had the biggest test, on our return from Dave Day on 21.06.2025. We set off from Barrow on 22.6.25 and by the time we got to Windermere, the heaven's opened. We travelled through the worst rain I have ever ridden through. I was bone dry when I got home.

Needed a summer jacket for those hot few weeks and this fits the bill. The jacket looks good but the key for me was the removable waterproof liner, this makes the jacket super cool when it's detached & easy to take with you incase there's a shower or it chills off a bit. Poppers for the lining not the strongest so take a bit of care & the zip could be a little more robust. Collar was perfectly comfortable with an easy popper, the zip pockets are fine & there's a couple of inside pockets with velcro fastening. Was just out on a very stuffy weekend, my mates were sweating buckets at the lights and I was chilled with a big grin telling them to get to Sportsbike shop.
