I have no doubt these parts will do the job very well in the event of an accident but they’re much bigger in bulk here than I’d expected looking at the images.

Very comfortable, good looking trousers. While wearing normally you can t feel or see the armour.. personally I would say they are worth every penny.

A very comfy helmet probably the most comfortable helmet I’ve owned. I had to drop down a size from XL to L, from my Shoei and Bell helmets , but this was no problem SBS dealt with this no problem and made this a very easy purchase from beginning to the end. Excellent service.

I bought these for a few days in France and Belgium as my existing jeans are older kevlar tech with less protection and they get pretty hot. The John Doe are what I'd call skinny jeans, which is a little MDL on me (my off bike slimmest jeans are more generous) but there's some stretch and it will keep the armour where it need to be. Just need to take it easy on the madeleines. Love that they don't have a mesh inner lining and are proper single layer. I've changed the armour to D3O Diablo level 2, which is especially an improvement on the knees. D3O hip armour is a little bulky and the pockets sit further back than I'd expect but that often happens.
The ankles need some persuasion to fit over the top of my Rokker boots but I'm not bothering in the warmer weather. I've done my trip now and they performed very well. Hope I never find out how projective they are but I feel as safe as possible.
