Simpson Helmets

Needed a helmet to tour with instead of my sports helmet. Had a few features in mind that I wanted in a new lid, this ticks all the boxes, flip up, internal sun visor, wide view vision and a double D ring, a lot of flip face helmets have a racket style clasp which I find chunky and uncomfortable. Ventilation is quite good but lacks in adjustability. Visor is quick and simple to swap and includes a pin lock. Wind noise is acceptable for the price range, my other lid is an arai rx7v and it would be unfair to compare the two given the arai is twice as expensive

Searching for the right helmet isn't an easy task so when I checked out the carbon fibre Simpson Venom it ticked all the boxes, price was very good, high quality finish, large field of view and the drop down sun shield is a great addition, was advised to order a slightly bigger size as Simpson are on the small side so I recommend ordering the next size up. All in all very happy with it.

Can't fault a Simpson. A helmet is a helmet. You make your choice, you pay your money.

But the service at SPORTSBIKESHOP has been excellent.

I originally wanted to order for in shop collection, but the option wasn't available. An email later and the option was offered but I chose to have it delivered. Unfortunately it was lost by the delivery company, no fault of the store, a quick call and another was ordered for in store collection.

Originally purchase a Large however exchanged for an XL with no fuss @store and am really pleased with the fit and style of the helmet, the flip down sun visor was a deal maker in this low weight style that I was looking for.
