LS2 Helmets

With this been my first helmet I was totally bewildered by the choice on offer at the store. I was set on wanting an adventure style lid though. Not knowing my size the friendly staff helped me choose the style and colour I liked and also helped me find my size.

I've not worn it out and about yet as I don't have my lesson till the 5th of September. But on recommendation I've worn it around the house to "break it in" for pressure points. So far so good. It fits perfectly still, even now the cheek pads have softened a little. Nice and light & visibility out of the opening is great, it's nice and wide with very little of the helmet appearing in my periphery. I also like the built in sun visor that flicks down. I fear I may find it a bit fiddly to locate the sun visor slider while on the move for a little bit, but that may just be a rookie learning everything still.

Overall very happy with the helmet & the colours are nice and bright.

The fit of this helmet was immediately obvious as perfect. It was a secure, all-round fit with no wobble at all on a head shake. The cheek pieces are fairly high and quite firm but are still perfectly comfortable and will remain so as they compress slightly with wear. The overall finish and construction of the helmet are excellent with a wide choice of sizes and colours. The two supplied visors are a perfect fit, are optically excellent and have four opening positions. the additional drop down sun visor a real bonus - every helmet should have these. Likewise the included Pinlock Insert - these are a real game changer with keeping a clear visor in wet or humid conditions.
Wind noise is minimal as is aerodynamic drag at different angles.
Overall I am delighted with the helmet and the price makes this a totally great deal for a quality helmet.

I'm a size 61" head and got an XL. Firstly the helmet is comfortable, a little snug around the cheeks to start with but not intrusive in anyway. I fitted a cheap intercom with it and there is plenty of room for the speakers, I can wear ear plugs and the speakers don't squash against the ear plugs causing discomfort. The venting is excellent too, you can really feel a breeze at 50mph. The visor and lifting mechanism comes as second nature giving the ability to have a full open face and even at 70mph you dont notice the mandible being flipped up. The quality of the finish is top notch. The added extras you get with the helmet is a clear visor, dark visor, 1 x pinlock, helmet bag, helmet rucksack, hi vis stickers and a chin skirt to keep the draft out on cold weather. I couldn't comment on how noisy it is as ive come from an Adv helmet which was unbearable. What I can say is its not as obtrusive and almost silent with oxford ear plugs in.

Comfy and quiet, pin lock easy to fit. Venalation pretty good. Only gripe which may get eaiser in time is the button to close the visor fully is fiddly. True to size aswell

I ve actually bought myself a new helmet. After years wearing a bikemate Aldi helmet and a viper flip front, both well over 10 years old. Only cost £15 for both 4 years ago.
I have a round head it is tight to put on, but it is new. Not rode with it yet as cheek pieces need wearing in I suppose because of newness. Actually sitting with it on my head now.
The helmet itself looks very nice, colours are great, nothing to moan about. Well worth blowing my money on.
Might be lucky to win review so I can buy some boots.
