Great companies are born out of great passions. Nolan has always meant "passion for two wheels". The history of Nolan helmets began in 1972 when Lander Nocchi, an entrepreneur in the motorbike and car accessories sector, decided to produce motorcycle helmets that could be lighter and more affordable than those on the market at the time. He purchased, from a company in the United States, an innovative plastic material, Lexan, which was light and versatile, and started producing polycarbonate helmets. In the following 37 years, other important ideas have been put into production, and Nolan helmets have proved to be well known and highly valued products by thousands of customers in more than 70 countries around the globe.

Nolan X-1005 Ultra Carbon Liquido - Gloss Red Nolan X-1005 Ultra Carbon Liquido - Gloss Red
This helmet is a great upgrade from my old Nolan 104. (6years old) I was struggling to find replacement visors for the old helmet so decided it was time to change it . I settled on the Nolan X-1005 Ultra Carbon Liquido , the carbon is coated in a range of colours so giving it a unique finish (I chose the - Gloss Red) I also upgraded the intercom with a Nolan B902x (Sena internals) as they fit directly on to the Nolan helmet. The helmet has a close fitting neck shield cutting out all wind and helping to make this the quietist helmet I have ever worn. The mechanism is silky smooth and simple to operate, plus you can ride with it up in the locked position. The internal sun visor and main pinlock visor have lots of settings it suit most types of riding. Overall this is the plushest helmet I have ever worn, and would recommend it to other riders. Sportsbike shop faultless on information and delivery .

Great service by Sportsbikeshop as usual, ordered a Medium and a Large to be delivered to my local store next day, tried them both on to find the best fit. The helmet looks great, fits great, little wind noise, and came with a race visor as well. Very happy with purchase.

Been using Nolan helmets since a child as in my countrty they are a popular brand and Nolan delviers with yet another quality helmet that is comfortable stylish and reliable. Have no issues traveling with it and low and high speeds during hot tropical days and hurricans and prefer the open face flexiblity of this series and the customizations of the helmets visor.

I love the styling and Nolan helmets fit my head perfectly. I had an issue with this helmet, as the drop down inner visor was not working and scratched. Eventually, I realised the visor had been fitted incorrectly, but it was an easy fix. The scratches can barely be seen when riding. Overall, the helmet itself is perfect for my needs. Excellent all round vision, almost as good as an open face.
