These boots are of the finest quality, handmade in Germany, they look and feel far superior to competitors, very comfortable out of the box, beautiful leather. Expensive but worth the outlay, should last for years.

These are great boot made by a good company. I bought these for the summer as my roadstars seemed a bit too hot for me on summer days.

Having just worn out my last pair of boots that were a couple of years old, I have been really struggling to find a replacement set but now my search is over. A well made high quality boot that combines just enough feel whilst not compromising on protection. They are so easy to get on and off due to the front opening, and they are comfortable from the moment you put them on. Also I ride all year round and can vouch they are waterproof. From now on its Daytona boots for me all the way, and anyone buying these boots will not be dissapointed.

The boot oozes quality! You can feel the high spec craftsmanship that has gone into these. The leather used is premium and provides good sturdy support on the ankles. The zips are chunky, operate smoothly and provide very easy access once open. Comfortable to walk in but the sole is slightly stiff which is expected due to safety feature and guess it'll break in after a while. Not had a chance to ride these in the rain but due to UK weather patterns I am sure that'll happen soon. Overall, one of my best bike gear purchases and wish I bought these before my previous pair. Comfortable straight out of the box - Ive tried many boots but these are the best Ive worn - Ive also got the Daytona Road Star GTX for foul weather winter riding -Ive essentially got the same quality but for the summer - You won't regret it!

was unsure if I wanted to spend this much on a pair of boots but there happened to be a discount of 30 per canton so thought I will go over to the store and try a pair on, my left foot gives me gip with tight fitting footwear so thought I would go up a size from 8 to 9 and what a difference, not too big and my left foot feels great, very comfortale so far but not had long enough to see how they wear but Daytona have a great reputation so not expecting any problems, great service from The Sports bike Shop, excellent

These were bought for my wife after her older boots gave up their waterproof ability. Went to shop to look at boots on offer she must have tried on 7 pairs of boots and the staff were very helpful. these were the best quality for the money - expensive but the specs are very high. She wanted a short boot for European touring. We ordered the right size for home delivery and they fit fine - the difference in sizing between manufacturers is massive so dont trust the size guides always try them on. Sportsbikeshop were superb as normal!

2. sizing: when looking at internet reviews ignore the american video review regarding sizing. just get the size you are. if you have wide feet/high instep go 1/2 a size bigger. i'm a 9 so i got a 43 and the fit is a little tight with thick socks but over time may loosen up but still feel ok. i noticed sizing on care manual is different to daytona online chart and size on outer box by 1/2 a size?
3. best quality boots i've had. stitching, zips and leather are high quality. still warm at 0 degrees and as dry as the sahara.

Very good comfortable short boot, oozing quality. Would definitely buy again. Worn in the rain totally dry dry, would consider buying longer boot at some point.

I do a lot of European touring with the tent so these type of boots are great for general wear and walking. But on the bike they are superb. I have a fairly wide foot and they fitted well without need the break them in. I wore them for 3 hours in the house before taking them out on the bike and they were like slippers! Yes expensive but I expect these are going to last me the rest of my biking days.

I've used the shorter style boots for years, generally Hein Gericke. My first purchase of Daytona and definitely not my last. Without doubt the best boots I've had in over 20 years of biking. Covered about 500 (wet) miles in the last 2 weeks and are proving to be comfortable and dry - excellent!!

With Daytona boots you get what you pay for. These boots are not cheap but they are well designed and beautifully made. I have yet to do a big ride in them (or to use them in the wet), but I went out for a couple of hours for the first time yesterday in cool (7 deg C) temperatures. The best thing that I can say is that I did not notice them. They were comfortable and pretty warm, not too big or clumsy either. The twin zip and velcro fastening means they are easy to get on and off.
I looked at plenty of other boots (mostly cheaper) before making the decision to go with these Daytonas. Recommended.
