TCX Hero 2 Waterproof Boots - Brown

These boots were super comfortable from the first wear on and off the bike. I like that I can wear them when I get to the office all day. Easy to put on and off with the zip and there's a good size tab on the back to help. The boots feel high quality and look good in my opinion. Not yet tested their waterproofness.

These are advertised as waterproof and this was the reason for buying, however water gets in by the seam, most disappointing as they are so comfortable and look great, had they not have been I would have returned them, I have since bought the Oxford over boots as a compromise as I'm touring to Como soon and don't fancy wet feet (it's bound to rain)

Tried these on alongside TCX's Blend 2 but these were way more comfortable for me, plus the added benefit of a side access zip and a Goodyear welted sole, so hopefully replaceable when the time comes. Have worn them several times and they've proven comfy on the bike with good feel through the soles; the gear change reinforcement patch also seems to do its job. And the zip /speed lacing metal eyes at the top of the boots make access and egress easy. Can't comment on durability as but they seem well made, and haven't tested the waterproofing yet hence the 4 star score but it should be ok if the rest of the boot is a guide. D3O is nice to have, too.
