Sidi Mid Adventure 2 Gore-Tex Boots - Tobacco

Decided on these boots as they offered better ankle protection than some of the others of a similar price

Just purchased the boot, and it's very comfortable and improved my confidence while riding

Excellent quality as would be expected from such a well established brand. Comfortable and well fitted with easily adjustable fittings. Ideal if you are looking for a short durable boot for commuting or long rides.

After a lot of deliberation and checking other reviews and manufacturers boots I settled on these.
I've only worn them once but so far they are excellent. The overall fit and height of the boots if great and fits easily under my fabric trousers which is important as the trousers rid up when sat on the bike and let water into the top of the boot.
The boots need breaking in and possible adjustment of the gear change pedal to allow for the size of the toe area, but not 100% sure just yet.
Overall great buy and I'm very happy with them.

Usual top quality from Sidi. Take some time to break in but hard to beat.

Not had these boots long so can't rate longevity but I can tell they should last well. They are rather stiff at first like wearing ski boots, but are breaking in nicely the more I use them, I'm either a size 7 or 8 depending on shoe type and manufacturer, I opted for the 8 and they haven't been uncomfortable at all after taking time to get the adjustment of the straps correctly. The sole is made of a soft tacky rubber so give loads of grip both off and on the bike. I've not had the misfortune of riding in the wet with these boots yet, but being gore-tex I have no doubt they'll be up to the job. The boots should do a good job of giving protection in the unfortunate case of an accident, as despite being mid length give good ankle support. They're much pricier than other options I was looking at but none seemed to have the reassurance these give and in imho the quality is worth the price and I have regrets in my purchase, I highly recommend these boots if your considering them, I don't think you'll regret your purchase either.

Quality, comfort and fit for me are perfect. We covered over 1000 miles over Easter going to the Highlands of Scotland me riding my Bonneville. They kept my feet wonderfully dry. The OH on the other hand couldn't get the velcro around the top to touch, let alone fasten. He's still looking for the perfect boot, I've found mine!

True size, excellent fit straight of the box

Brought these from the Birmingham store. Excellent service. I went in to try them on, had to go a size bigger. Very comfy, easy to get on and off. look very well made, not tried in wet but I think will be fine they are Gore-Tex. Very easy to use controls on bike.

Comfortable from the off all though stiff! Done about 600 miles now and starting to soften up.
Not been out in the rain yet but they are gore-tex so don't envision any problems.

As a pensioner (on limited income) I needed a decent pair of motorcycle boots encompassing support, comfort, reliability, durability and water proofing that would still be a decent pair after a season of riding around the UK and Europe covering 6-8000+ miles annually. I found the Sidi mid adventure boots after being advised by a younger rider who uses them for daily work commute and holiday touring. These boots cover all and every aspect of riding. And no l do not and have not worked for Sidi...

Had many many boots over 45 years of riding and these are up there with the best.

For me Sidi are the most comfortable boots I've found and are hard wearing. Tight fit if trousers go inside boot. No problems changing gears or using brake pedal on my 1200RT.

This is my first pair of Adventure boots and I have to admit that they are a bit bulkier than I expected and this is probably because I am used to wearing touring boots. I have struggled to get my foot under the gear lever even on a BMW R1250GS. There is no doubting the quality that is superb and they look great, I will just have to adapt gear changes until I get used to them.
