Rev'it Echelon Gore-Tex Textile Jacket - Grey / Black

I originally bought the women's Lamina Jacket but after trying it on and sitting on my bike the sleeves were just too short. So, in turn I bought this (size S). I'm 5'10" and weigh about 10 stone. The sleeves are plenty long enough for me but still comfortable. It's also long enough in the body for me too.

The quality is fantastic. It's an expensive jacket- so you'd hope so but, it really does feel that way. The main zip is chunky and heavy duty. All the zips are also waterproof. The zip pull tabs are also big enough to pull with gloves on, thick or thin. The chest pocket can comfortably fit my iPhone 15 in but any bigger phone might struggle. It does have 2 inside pockets too that are very useful.

I wanted to wait a while to give a decent review so I'm writing this from Germany having worn it from Derbyshire and over 850 miles. I have not yet ridden through hours of rain but I have ridden through the wet and short downpours. I have no complaints. I stayed completely dry and warm. The neck comes up more than a usual jacket which is nice to keep rain, wind and anything you can throw at it out. On the other hand- the venting system is fantastic and in warmer temperatures (up to maybe 25°C) it's still a comfortable jacket to wear.

Overall I can definitely say I'd recommend spending the money on this jacket. It's well worth it especially on top of the Gore-tex guarantee and Rev'it warranty.
