Comfortable and just what i needed

Very impressed with this jacket. In hot weather this really is nice to wear. I was stuck in heavy traffic around Knightsbridge area wearing this on a hot day and this was fine to wear. Breathable but could still get away wearing just this on a summer evening without it being too chilly.
Im a medium 40 inch chest. The medium is snug but am happy with the fit and personally wouldn't go a size up. Nice that it has back protector too.

Great protection but

This feels amazing on, so breathable lightweight and protective, the only problem I have is my body shape, when sat on my bike it fits perfectly, but when I stand it doesn't cover the bottom of my gut, wouldn't be a problem if I wore my jeans higher but I don't hahaha and it's not really a huge problem because I wear a vast underneath, just feels a bit weird, you won't find a better ventilated and more protective jacket on the market

Purchased the XL which fits just right, XXL was too large in the wrong places.
However the XL pinched under the armpit. There is a lot of stitching with hard threads that get really uncomfortable which I tried to ignore. Based on the price I paid, it couldn't be ignored. If you have big arms, shoulders and a wider back. Just check sizing and pay attention to any signs of discomfort.
I did try the Urbane pro ( not utility jacket ) in an XL and XXL and it didn't have notice any of the issues above. Maybe was a defect with my particular item.
I'll wait for the Bowtex shirts to come into stock before looking at summer protection. Being able to dress normally and utilise existing regular clothing on a bike while being protected is underrated!

Now fitted with thinner, lighter Level 2 Micro-Lock Compact in the back, shoulders, and elbow. In hot weather, wear it on top of a base layer, with no other jacket required. In cooler climates, just add more or less Knox seasonless layers. Security belt loop system to attach the shirt to trousers.
