Cardo convert maybe
25 October 2024 by Alan O
Had Sena for years but after a recent 30k doing duff, and Sportsbikeshop being absolutely brilliant and giving me refund, I decided to try a cardo Neo it works as it should is completely waterproof and the music is beautiful, I'll see how things go but up to yet I'm a convert just got to persuade my pals now

The quintessential cardo
30 September 2024 by Thomas G
This is the one to get. The model up from this detatches from your helmet slightly easier but is not worth the price increase.
The sound quality is perfect, the fact that this one let you use voice assistant features on an android phone, where my old freecom would not is absolutely essential.
It's just a shame that these are still so expensive. But if you're buying a comm unit and can stretch to the price of the packtalk neo then it is worth the price increase from whatever cheaper unit you are looking at.

Replaced a Sena
19 September 2024 by Adam T
Previously bought a Sena 10S which was rubbish from the start, difficult to pair, stopped working in any wet and no range. SBS were brilliant and gave me a credit note to spend on a different make so opted for the Cardo. Just got back from a 200 mile round trip and it performed extremly well. Great range, clear speakers and microphone and easy to fit. I haven't tested it in the wet but taking everything esle into account I'm guessing it will be top drawer. Well done Cardo and thanks again SBS

This is to replace an older cardo
Cardo are expensive but good quality
prefer the older method of how cardo connected to helmet electrically now you have a separate usbc plug to connect

Great bit of kit
14 August 2024 by Keith
Upgraded from Sena smh5, a massive improvement in sound quality. Fairly straight forward to link up with your phone via the Cardo app, a bit fiddly to link to other headsets even with the mesh system but once set up the 3 button and jog wheel controls on the unit are easy to use even with gloves on.

Top Gadget
03 August 2024 by Charles J
Was a bit apprehensive buying this as they aren't cheap. Decided to bight the bullet and don't regret it. Cracking piece of kit.
To top it off, they fitted it free of charge there and then.
The unit itself has brilliant audio and once you get used to the voice command it's just perfect..
Would highly recommend it.

Expensive, but worth the money
05 July 2024 by Anonymous
This Cardo has changed how we ride in a group. Most of the group now have this intercom, it's made our rides safer and more enjoyable.
Ordered Friday lunchtime, delivered Saturday AM at no extra cost. Great service from Sportsbikeshop service as usual.
My only criticism is the with of the speakers in the helmet are quite thick and rub on my ears in my Shoei helmet, but this could down to my big ears.

So far a bit glitchy but I reckon that could be the user. But the clarity is excellent. Cheers

Perfect for my needs
07 June 2024 by Matthew L
This is perfect for what I need. Didn't think it was worth the extra for the Edge as I only have one helmet only need to remove the device for charging. Battery seems to last ages. It's a good feature can turn off the mesh if just riding alone and saves battery even more. Easy to use and can alter the settings via the app, voice commands work brill so no need to touch the unit when riding.

Very good!
15 May 2024 by Anonymous
This has made riding so much easier and much more enjoyable. Now that I'm able to listen to my satnav directions whilst keeping my eyes on the road at all times.
The sound quality is excellent and the app is fantastic.
The only issue I have with it is that I can't have just my maps on. The sound is so quiet if I'm not playing music as well. While this isn't necessarily an issue because listening to music is also nice, I'd like to have the option of just solely having directions that I can actually hear.

Great but of kit
25 April 2024 by Nathan
Perfect solution to communicating whilst riding in a group. Also spot on on a solo trip, used it to listen to music. Wish I'd bought one sooner. Clear sound quality and worked flawlessly in a downpour on my first long trip with it.

Everything you need
02 March 2024 by Joel
It does what it says on the tin. I mainly use it for playing music or talking to non rider friends on Discord while I ride.
The only issue I have is with the voice commands, I always have to repeat myself around 3 times to skip songs, which has resulted in me stopping altogether and using the buttons on the side. I have to shout and put on an American accent to get the most consistency (think of a California valley girl but a bloke) which is very tedious. For the premium price tag, you expect these things to work.
The concerning thing is, I have the most tame and understandable Yorkshire accent, so I think the Welsh and the barbarians above Hadrian's wall will struggle even more.

Great piece of kit
15 December 2023 by Andy
I borrowed a cardo from a mate to go on a group ride earlier in the year and decided to buy one for myself afterwards. I was impressed by how easy to use it is once it's set up. Reconnecting automatically if you drop out of range, voice activated controls, talking with everyone in the group at the same time with no additional setup. It's fantastic. The sound is really good too. Definitely a good buy.

Questions and Answers
Looking at getting Cardo intercom can you tell me the differance between this and the packtalk edge and neo ,as it looks like just magnetic mounting and different warrenty lenght for big price differance Thanks
March 10, 2023The main difference is the Edge uses an "Air" magnetic mount, the Neo uses a clip mount. The Edge can also charge while ride.
