Rukka Road-R Textile Trousers - Black

I bought these a few weeks ago and have worn them in both November and December riding both my naked and my sportsbike. I wasn't cold and the outside temperature was 7 degrees Celsius, I didn't wear any additional leggings either, I just kept the thermal liner in place. They are a good and accurate fit, I am a 42" waist and a 33 inside leg, so I went for the regular 34" leg length and I can easily get them to fit over the top of my Daytona boots. The trouser seat area has an extra layer of padding, it wasn't mentioned in the advert but it feels like a firm bubble wrap which is most welcome on my backside whilst riding my naked bike with an uncomfortable seat and I was able to ride around in comfort for 90 minutes without feeling the need to stop and rest that area, which was a great improvement for me. The hip and knee protection is shapely to my body and very reassuring and only adds to the great cosseting feeling I get whilst riding in these trousers. I ordered them online and used the 'Try before you Buy' option with Sportsbikeshop Reading and wandered around the showroom for a good 15 minutes, bending, squatting and stretching to make sure that I was happy with my purchase, which I am. In fact I would go as far as to say, I'm delighted with them.

Always buy from Sportsbike shop as I have tried others but they fail on customer care.
The Rukka R trousers were a complete surprise as I always have had issues with the sizes. I'm 30" inside leg, and 38" waist. These work out at 30.5" and 39" respectively.
I did require the braces as the weight of the trouser would require some support. You have to buy these separately now!
The best part of these trousers are the padded seat, very comfy on the bike. Next is the material and liner, very waterproof and warm to wear. After a while you forget your wearing them. The only criticism was the knee armour, during cold days it is stiff and can rubbed your knees, but that's all.
There is a pocket but would have liked the large pockets found on the other Rukka trousers on sale, but really it's not an issue.
All in all I find this purchase a good reduced price along with great quality and a great customer backup.

These trouser are very warm and comfortable and the fit is spot on. Also lots of protection. I've not worn them in the rain yet, but I'm sure they'll be fine. As usual first class service from SBS.
