Oxford Original Approved AAA Slim Fit Jeans - Dark Aged

Having come back to biking after a few years away, decided to go the jeans route rather than leathers. Took a while trying different makes, but found theses just what I was after. Fit suited me and the material allowed for some stretch for comfort when on the bike. The AAA rating gives extra piece of mind and while the armour may not be the thinnest, again the safety was important to me. They do feel heavy and a little stiff compared to some makes, but are already starting to wear in nicely.

I've been looking for some new biker jeans to replace my RST IOM TT jeans I've had for some time now.

I bought the slim fit Oxford jeans and they are a nice fit, not baggy and the stretch material is very stretchy for what they are. The 34" waist I'd say was slightly generous and the long leg fit my 33 inseem nicely. Comfort is very good after the first wear too. The only criticism is the armour, I wouldn't expect it to be in the perfect place at the right right. For me it doesn't seem to sit in the perfect place. Hopefully I'll never find out.

You can tell straight away that they are well made! They are a little stiff to begin with but they're breaking in slowly. They do block a LOT of wind which is great for the UK and our terrible weather, as well as being decently water resistant. I got caught in a light shower and you wouldn't even know, in heavier rain though the thigh area was wet.
I took one star off because I can feel them bunching up in the bend behind my knees (sportsbike). But it's less noticeable as they soften up from wearing them.
I imagine they'll be very warm in the summer, but what Protective bike gear isn't...
If the bunching feeling behind the knees goes away from wear/washing then they will be 5 stars

These are like cardboard at first but once worn in they are dead comfy. Slim fit tucks into my boots just nicely. Reassuringly heavy and thick, the armour is plenty flexible. However, they offer absolutely no protection against the cold, which should be obvious. I have been pairing them with a windproof base layer but for winter, run some proper waterproof trou.

Superb fit and super comfortable. Level 2 armour is flexible and barely noticeable when wearing. Single layer AAA should offer efficient protection when needed. Fit is true to size. Great value for money with different styles available. Chose the same size as my regular trousers and no issues with sizing.

These jeans are a quality product hence AAA rating. I ordered 34 reg and they fit perfectly. They look good and can be worn casually but they are considerably heavier than ordinary jeans

Will need to try these in summer. Chose long leg to get the armour correctly positioned in riding position on the knees.

A little stiff when first worn and slightly slimmer fitting than the Oxford AA jeans but still a very good pair of jeans, the armour fits really well

Lots of protection but look like a normal pair of jeans. Very happy with these.

Bought these on recommendation having a lengthy phone call with the Bristol branch someone who uses them on daily commute, so great realtime recommendation.

Been wearing them with the Oxford belt attachment to my leather CE Jacket.

Found them really comfortable and great alternative to my Full leather RST suit I also purchased from SBS

Always been dubious wearing jeans against leathers, but these are great quality with ce internal armour ideal for a leisurely ride or commute.
Great fit and look nice inside or outside of my leather race boots.

Ordered the slim jeans, but too tight, and I have skinny legs. I think the armour makes the jeans skinny size, changed for regular jeans, better in the hot weather, Portugal.

Good slim fit and true to size with full AAA rating.

Just like a normal pair of jeans, sizing is correct and they are very comfortable

A bit stiff until you wear them for a couple of rides but then fit nice would size up 1 size

I had a problem where my jeans split near the ankle for some reason, but SBS replaced them quickly with no hassle.
