Richa Typhoon Rain Overall - Black

I use my bike all year round, so needed a suit that would keep out the weather, especially during the winter months. I am a large/medium size so ordered the large sized Typhoon. I find it easy to get on and the legs long enough to go down to the bottom of my legs. My inside leg is 31". Rode through a rain shower and arrived without any leaks. I recommend this suite. Check the measurements of the suite when rolled up as I cannot get mine under the seat of my Suzuki Bandit, so it has to be carried on top of the seat.

Fed up with swamp butt after getting caught in rain armed only with leggings so thought id go for the Richa Typhoon as have found their other gear good in the past. Being vertically challenged I was a little concerned about looking like the Goodyear blimp riding down the road but fears allayed when it arrived. Roomy yes but not ridiculously. Easy to jump into when required and not a drop has entered where it shouldn't so happy with that. Comes with a drawstring bag to so stows easily in the top box. More than happy with it .

Having owned all-in-ones from these guys before, I expected a good ten years of irregular use before they might leak. With the internal 'flap' covering the waste area I was annoyerd that they did allow water in on the first good test. I covered about 140 miles in constant drizzle, some thick fog and spray on the motorway sections. They fit great, and now that they don't have that dreadful webbing inside they slip on quickly first time. However, if they leak they are no good. I will have to replace them with another manufacturers all-in-ones as SBS don't have any at all in my size now!! I can't give them a higher score, but a shame that I can't simply replace them with the same as it could simply be a one-off failure.

Very good quality. True to size. I wear leather jacket underneath and it feels absolutely fine. No leaks and keeps you dry. Tested in light/medium rain on short trip. Only downside is getting in. It can be a bit tricky.

Ordered for my wife a Medium fits over her usual bike gear. Not tried in anger yet, hopefully it'll be dry!

So eventually got there, suit is great. Came 2 times with wrong zip on the storage pocket or got sent the same one twice. But all sorted, sprortsbikeshop have been great in dealing with ALL of the problems (including address issues caused by myself) and the suit fits good and keeps the draught and rain out

Works great. Only reason not 5 star is the way it fastens hard to get on over motorcycle clothes, xxl perfect fit for me. If I was putting it on over ordinary clothes it would be great but trying to pull it over all the padding and armor is exhausting. Large inner bib beneath zip over stomach causes the difficulty. Not sure if it's necessary.

This is the second oversuit I bought. The first one has been very good so this one is for my daughter when she's out on her bike.

Bought this for my daily commute to work, worn it to work everyday so far and it keeps me dry all over and also keeps the wind off so provides some warmth as well, fitment is true to size and easy enough to put over your gear or clothes without too much faffing.

As per usual an easy experience buying from sportsbikeshop.
They fitted fine over my leathers and boots.
Not tested them yet in the rain, but I feel confident they will be okay.

Unlike other purchasers, easy to do & fully waterproof. Feel like a giant condom but function over form wins.

Great, waterproof, have kept me dry in the extreme rain storms. Bit of a faff to put on, but you get use to it.

Reviewing to give info on fit only. Not tested in rain yet. Seem good quality though. Lots of extra baggy material for me but I know these are designed to go over everything else and one size fits all in terms of width. Would've preferred medium but medium was too tight round my ass when sat down so had to stick with large. Medium pulled down on my shoulders in seated position and would've been uncomfortable on the bike.

I got this for a 4 day tour of wales. It rained at numerous intervals on A and B roads when I was travelling at less than 60 mph. I was also on a motorway and travelling at 70 mph and there was torrential rain for a continuous 1 hour period. I stayed absolutely dry top to bottom in all these times and waterproofing was brilliant. Can't fault it. However on this very first trip, the zip detached. It doesnt have ykk zips which could be an improvement point. I could zip it up but I could still close the suit with the velcro lining. And just the velcro closure on its own did the job well and kept me dry. Excellent service from SBS as they replaced it due to the faulty zip.
