Furygan Atom Vented Evo Textile Jacket - Black / White

Have been through Dianese and Rev-It mesh jackets which have never fit me properly and I ended up selling them. This (XL) Furgan Atom jacket, as with my 10-year-old XL Furygan leather jacket, fit me perfectly. I'm 33 waist 46 chest and it's long enough in the arm. Mesh everywhere. I added an XL CE2 back protector for which there is a shaped back pocket. Really comfortable and lightweight too. Just need a hot day to test it properly so might need to head south! Shame there are no matching trousers/jeans.

I usually going for 2XL but I followed the adevice and ordered the 3XL. It fits absolutely perfect. There was no back armour so I ordered that separately. This jacket is really nice and lightweight. I highly recommend it.

Bought this at the end of summer and the weather was unusually warm. This jacket fits very well and am looking forward to wearing next spring/ summer.
I must say these come up a little bit smaller than the other Furygan jackets I have, so do check sizing.
Overall I am very happy with the quality and fit, I strongly recommend this jacket.

I cannot go to excellent yet as since purchasing the jacket, every day i have been free to get out on the bike it has been raining, so wet weather gear instead.
However, the jacket appears to be well made, a nice comfortable fit with some useful pockets and good quality zips. Although not supplied, there is a pocket for a decent back protector. Value for money is good, although towards the lower end of the price bracket for this type of jacket in no way does it feel like corners or quality have been sacrificed. All I need now is some warm weather to see how it performs.

During the recent hot spell prompted me to get a cooler jacket to wear eithput sacrificing armour protection. I'm going to Spain so will also need something gor there. Very happy with product and service received. Quick delivery and jacket does everything I needed. Took it out during 30c heat and felt cool. Not much else to add.

The first thing you notice is how light this jacket is and it looks great. It has 2 good sized inside pockets and two outer pockets. The jacket has armour in the shoulders and elbows, and a pocket for the specific Furygan back protector. However, the zip is not heavy duty and I can see this as a weak point on the jacket. I only feel air entering the jacket at the arms, this could be as I have an adventure bike and the screen is preventing air blast on the chest. But by far worst thing for me is the cuffs do not open wide enough to put gloves inside. If the cuffs open wide you get a draught blowing up your arm. Putting the cuffs inside the gloves causes sweating in hot weather. Cuffs open to 3 inches, velcro not zipped.

You know it's always better if it's cheaper, but sometimes service is a price worth paying for. I called into the Boston shop whilst on a tour explaining I was just to trying for size the Furygan Atom jacket. The staff were very accommodating and the right size was found. When home I ordered the jacket and it was delivered on time without a hitch. It turned out to be a good price too! Thanks Sportsbikeshop.

Pound for pound, the best bike gear investment I've made in ages.

I tried a few different brands before opting for the Furygan. I preferred the sportier fitted cut of this jacket, together with the longer back, which covers your jeans quite nicely. A few of the others had an almost bomber jacket style waist.

The mesh works brilliantly for me, and has kept air flowing through in temps up to 31 degrees. In fact it works that well for me, in anything below 19 degrees-ish, I'm looking for a mid layer.
The armour is unobtrusive but still feels nicely secure. The jacket looks good, and actually feels like it looks good.

Usually when the temperatures are real high, I cannot be doing with feeling uncomfortable under a hot leather, so choose not to go out.
This jacket has changed all that, and I'm well chuffed with it.

Bought this jacket for a 4000 mile tour across Europe, down through Italy to Sicily and back so it had a good test in hot temperatures and it performed it's job really well. It collected a lot of dust and dead fly's along the way so was even submitted to a wash test when I got back and it came through that with flying colours as well. If you want an affordable summer jacket I can recommend this one.

I think the jacket looks amazing! It's very comfortable, & the sleeves are not too bulky to fit inside gloves.
It certainly keeps you cool on really hot days, but still retains the feeling that you're well protected, the quality is excellent.

Very lightweight and well constructed jacket with vented materials to keep you cool in hot weather. Great airflow and very comfortable (fits slightly on the small size so I bought just one size up and it's perfect). Unlike other jackets I've tried the arm and body length is spot-on too. The armour is light and I'd recommend installing a spinal protector. I bought this jacket for "sensible" spins around the lanes not for higher speed journey's so it meets my expectations completely. Excellent quality jacket - well vented and perfect for Summer. Much cheaper than many of the other brands but without a reduction in quality. This will not be my last Furygan purchase. D30 armour is a brilliant bonus. Best price from SBS too. One happy customer!!
