Knox Dual Pro Over Jacket - Green

Great service from SBS! Using the try in store option, I arrived with my Knox Urbane Pro Mk2 Armour in hand which is a medium. I tried on the Over jacket in Small and Medium. In the end I selected the small. It wasn't restrictive and fitted over the armour without a problem and allows me to wear the jacket on its own for casual use.. as I like the look! Really comfortable, well made and excellent with all the pockets available. Not yet been out in the rain so can't comment on that but in terms of additional wind protection its excellent (even without the thermal liner)

Top quality jacket with a removable inner jacket, that can be worn on it's own or over the armoured shirt when the day is cooler, or you can wear the top jacket over your armoured shirt or both together on much colder days this is just great and versatile.

I don't think there's much I can add to what was already said about this jacket. Very comfy, stylish, keeps wind at bay and provides protection against light shower(tested). The fact that you can wear it in any configuration makes it a great outer shell when riding and great jacket when off the bike. Size wise, if you got yourself a Knox shirt and want to get this one as well just follow the size of the shirt you got and it'll fit perfectly. Highly recommended!

Not a lot you can say about this over jacket except its excellent.

I picked this up to go over my knox amour shirt which has been a game changer for those few warmer day we've had this year.

The problem I have is that I work nights, so that early evening ride into work can get quite warm, so having the armour is great but the ride home in the morning is chilly.
The dual jacket goes nicely in the back box and comes out for the ride home, the quilted liner is lovely and warm and the soft shell keeps out is a lot more wind proof than I was expecting.
If you enjoy touring or light touring where you are riding through temperature changes, this is an excellent addition to your kit.

My first ride out wearing this was heavy rain and strong wind, so not ideal conditions and I got pretty wet in the end, even with my goretex layers underneath! The 10k water resistance could do with being maybe 15 or 20k in my opinion. Lots of handy pockets though, easy to use zips and a visor/glasses cloth in the chest pocket. I like that it has the removable liner and the hood that can be worn under your helmet, nice bit of thought gone into this jacket. Looks great as well, nobody would know I was wearing my armored bike gear underneath.

This jacket is my go to top for this year's adventures.

I have the knox armour so a natural progression to buy the top layer. Clever design and quality all round, such a good idea that my best friend brought one as well.
Very light and warm and breaks down into a lighter Jacket inside that, then if it's nice and warm your down to just the knox armour which in its self is another clever and brilliant bit of riding kit, roll on Spain /Portugal this year, I got everything I need.

Excellent quality from Knox recently went out on a 3 hour ride and kept me toasty warm and paired with Knox urbain pro armoured shirt was fully protected really comfortable love the feel and quality excellent service from sbs

This is a great riding jacket, proving to be warm, windproof and comfortable over my Honister mesh jacket. It's also great off the bike where it passes easily as non-biking gear if you need it to. The only reason I've given it a 4 and not 5 star rating is that the sleeves are a fraction shorter than I'd ideally like, but my bars are a sporty stretch away and on a more upright bike it probably wouldn't be an issue. Sizing comes up large as noted by other reviewers, my Honister is a Size L but I went for a medium in the Dual Pro having tried both sizes on.

Love it. Layering is so much better than one jacket all year around, and these garments are both well thought out and very usable. And the clincher is the arm length is long which is so difficult to find today if you're 6' 2". I can highly recommend Knox gear.

Bought this jacket to wear over Knox urban pro shirt. I originally ordered a size above my normal size after reading a review on another site however, it was too large and I reordered my normal size which is fine. As expected the service from Sportsbikeshop was brilliant.

Bought whilst on offer for warm weather to go with Knox Armoured Shirt, Not worn yet as middle of winter. Fits well and well made plenty of pockets. Layered system should help touring UK and Europe in 2024.

Only worn on the bike a few times so far, and not in the rain yet, but given that it is the depth of winter I am more than impressed.
It is true to size, and is very comfortable and extremely warm.
Great to wear off the bike too, and people find it hard to believe it is a biking jacket. I thoroughly recommend it. Personally I am unlikely to use the hood as I have already got a really good system for keeping my head warm, but that is just a personal consideration.

This is a good product, and you will not make a mistake buying it. It is surprisingly warm. For the coldest weather you will have to use a separate, additional mid layer, such as a down or fleece mid jacket. The dual pro leaves you enough space for it.
It is very windproof. Regarding waterproofing, I can say that it withstood 30 min of moderate rain easily. But since the jacket is not laminated, it does soak in some of the water and it takes a few hours to dry out. For heavy rain I use a Scott waterproof overjacket.

The jacket is not perfect in any one particular aspect, but it is the perfect compromise for practicability if you have a Knox armor jacket.

I use the armored jacket as base (with removed back protector), then the dual pro jacket, and a Helite airbag as outer layer. This combination is perfect and definitely better and safer than any traditional motorcycle jacket you can buy on the market.

The only alternative to the Knox dual pro would be a regular 3-in-1 jacket from Berghaus etc, but you will find that they are not cheaper than this, and they would be not quite as practical. For example the hood in the Dual Pro really means a lot in the winter, and the lower collar doesn't cause issues with head movements with a helmet on.

Bought in conjunction with Urban Pro 3. After trying on found it was better to go for medium (went for large on Urban Pro) as it is made as a generous fit so found the large too baggy

Fits a treat over riding jacket of the same size. This is quality. Would order in a size smaller if I just wanted an amazing winter jacket.
