Shoei J-O - Basalt Grey

A very well made helmet. High quality finish. Low noise and secure at speed. Very comfortable and looks cool. Worth every penny. What more do you want from a helmet. Well done Shoei.

Great looking helmet, it's a Shoei so I know the grey matter is protected.
I order the size as my other Arai helmets, it was the same sizing.
This helmet is noisy above 50mph, but what do you expect with open face. Visor is good too, easy pops out for cleaning.

The helmet is clearly very well made like all Shoei products, but the issue is it is so thick and too heavy in a size large you end up looking like a mushroom. I had to return.

I decided to get an open face when I realised I spent a lot of time with my flip up open, especially in town during the summer. I went with Shoei as the quality is always good. I was not disappointed. The helmet is very light, and good quality. The pull down visor works well when on the open road. Just the job for summer riding in urban areas.

A really beautiful helmet, lovely colour combination and comfortable. I like the flip down visor idea, perfect to protect your eyes from debris, especially if it s too cloudy for sunglasses. This is the perfect helmet to compliment your urban/retro look.

A great helmet. light, fits me very comfortably. The integral visor is great with the stop that allows it to come down to 3 different positions.

I was looking for an open face helmet for the summer on my Dax. This is perfect, the quality is obvious as soon as you pick it up.
The drop down internal visor is effective without spoiling the classic open face look and after using it for a 2 hour ride it is very comfy.
Delivery and service from sportbikeshop was excellent as usual.

For an open-face helmet this fits the bill perfectly. Stylish in its matt brown, pull down half visor is ideal for me and the fit is excellent. In fact it's probably the most comfortable helmet I've owned (and I've had many). The quality is also extremely good as you'd expect from Shoei.

3rd Shoei helmet and same great quality, wanted a open face helmet with a visor for Thailand and it a very light weight. So good I got one for the wife. Service from sportsbikeshop was excellent.

Tried on loads of open face helmets for my Harley. Most made me look like a mushroom or ripped my ears off! This Shoei helmet is fantastic. Great looking. Great shape. Really comfortable and works really well with sunglasses due to the slots in the padding. Adjustable visor positions is really useful. I was looking for a comfortable stylish open faced helmet with integral visor. This helmet has delivered all that. I was unsure about the colour until I saw it, but I like it.
The removable washable inserts are another useful feature.
Standard double D ring strap is fine. Nothing to go wrong there.

As always Shoei build quality stands out. The comfort and confidence in the safety this helmet provides is worth every penny.
