Nolan N100-5 N-Com - Hilltop Metal White / Blue / Red

Having always had Shoei or AGV I thought I'd give Nolan a try as I needed a new flip front helmet and had heard good reviews. I wasn't disappointed, sizing was spot on and it was comfy straight out of the box. The helmet is quiet, and because the flip front hung pivots it reduces the 'sail' effect when riding with the chin bar open. Visibility is excellent and although not the lightest helmet around, it doesn't feel heavy when riding. All in all great value for money at only £200.

The Nolan N100-5 Flip top was excellent. Comfortable, quality fittings and Pinlock already fitted.
Noise reduced considerably compared to my present LS2 flip

Bought to replace a Nolan helmet I've had for a number of years.
Medium size is a good snug fit for me. The lining is removable for washing and is well padded.
Supplied with Pinlock already fitted and visor provides a tall and wide view. Also fitted with chin bar lock in the up position and dual control lift. Supplied with 5 year warranty.

Needed a new helmet and wanted value and quality along with good service. I got all three with Sportsbikeshop.
Never needed the option of a return if it didn't fit properly, although that was very reassuring.
I chose the Nolan N100-5 as I previously had a Nolan and was very happy with it. The new one is even better and more comfortable with better field of vision too. Very happy customer.

Have one for myself and one for pillion rider, very comfy and this was size small, rider 56cm head and size spot on, good field of view and not too noisy, but always wear earplugs whatever lid worn, on special so really good deal

Bought this to replace my old Arai, the Nolan is my first flip front helmet and I am very happy with it. I would normally buy a size 62 as per my old Arai, but this helmet was either 61-62 or 63-64 so I went for the larger size and it's a great fit but the 61-62 would have been too small for sure. The ventilation is very good, my old helmet would mist up as soon as the visor was shut at lower speeds but this Nolan stays clear all the time even in the rain.
The flip down sun visor is a bonus and once you get used to finding the slider and button to lower and raise it, it is very useful. There is a reasonable amount of wind roar at higher speeds but not a major issue and probably to be expected with a flip front helmet.

Fit spot on my size, great viewing angles, good padding but not too tight, I'm 61 and xl fitted perfectly, like strap very secure and fact Nolan n100-5 on sharp tests never had flip front open up in crash real comfort ,get one while on offer,white great in summer doesn't trap heat and visible to others

On returnung to biking I always had Nolans in the past and reading the reviews of this helmet i ordered one. I cannot fault this helmet, its comfortable lid up or down, i wear spectacles and that isnt a problem at all and what a beauty too

Having worn medium helmets forever, with manufacturers switching to narrow shells I've had to go up a size. Consequently, this N100-5 is comfortable but not snug.
As with previous Nolans it is without doubt a good helmet, far better then the far more expensive Schuberth I had. The full size pinlock is yet to be tested but on previous Nolan it's worked, unlike on other helmets I've had. The chin vent is a little difficult to find and its' effectiveness has yet to be tried.
The only down side with the Nolan, as it seems with all modern helmets, is wind noise around the base. So you have to wear ear plugs but if they come loose you're going to get a touch of tinitus.

Bought this because unfortunately my Nolan N104 broke a cable in its chin bar release mechanism. Was only 5 years old but got used in all weathers. Bought this because I knew it would fit. Was bit tight on forehead at first but after a few days it had bedded in nicely. Happy with helmet at this price.

Went for the Nolan N100-5 after a lot of research. Fit true to size, well made and oozes quality. Wide visor aperture with pinlock already installed. Good ventilation when used in closed position. Excellent sun visor, unlike previous helmets I have owned where they don't come down far enough. Very quiet by any standards let alone for a modular. Highly recommended.
