RST S-1 CE Mesh Textile Jacket - Black / White

Bought this after a week of sweating my hooligans off, weather then went off as well - doh! (my bad). However it's come back to good heat so have used this jacket now in sunshine, heat, humidity, and light showers. I have to say I'm well impressed with it in those conditions especially good inner weather proof liner (arms sweat however if sun comes out after raining) just have to stop and take it out, good excuse for a breather (no pun). Jacket is light weight and fits well and I must say I don't experience the Velcro issues of it sticking to everything like I do with my other RST jacket, good design here RST. Sat behind a fairing and visor it's really good to get any air flow through to the torso so good on ya RST. Also looks really good. Price was good too and good on ya Sportsbikeshop supporting service workers. I'd give more than 5 if I could. Finally good protection rating for this good of mesh jacket.

Super fast delivery, great price and does exactly what it was designed for, used on a 240 mile trip round the dales on a plus 25c day and the jacket kept me cool all day.
Jacket true to size but would recommend getting a back protector for piece of mind.

As always excellent service from Sportsbikeshop first and foremost. Jacket is very light and comfortable in warm weather also performed better than expected in a heavy rain shower. I've taken the lining out as I found the elasticated wrists very irritating. Overall excellent jacket for the money. Would recommend

Never had a mesh jacket before and am on a tight budget always used to buy Dainese so I thought I would try RST and I am not disappointed, it fits great, it's comfortable and I feel well protected. Unbeatable jacket for the money.

Really good quality jacket, fits well, Snug around wrists

Would be a 5 however front pockets are a little small, especially if you have a larger mobilephone like an S22 or a Zfold like i do, doesnt fit. Need to use inside pocket, however if you have insert in, no access no inner pocket.

Nice fit and true to size. RST gear is good quality, this will be great for those hot summer days, if we ever get them!

This is a smart looking, sporty jacket and the mesh panels are very effective at allowing the passage of air through, in fact, so far I've been unable to ride it without the liner in due to our less than blisteringly hot summer.. I would have liked an inner pocket but I guess with the nature of the mesh construction that isn't really viable. I'd definitely recommend it for the two days of summer we get every year or if you intend riding to more exotic locations, it's like riding in a t shirt but you still have good protection. Sizing is accurate too. I

I have used RST since I started riding and can't fault it. Decided to go for a mesh jacket for the summer months and wondered why I never bought one of these before. Very good quality product with a sporty fit. Absolutely amazing when it's hot. Again, great service from SBS as it was delivered next day. And now they are opening a new store in sunny Scotland.

Nice piece of kit, removable lining for added ventilation so plenty of airflow. My only criticism is the that the cuffs on the sleeves are a little tight, but I have thick wrists so this may not be a problem for most!

I bought this mesh jacket because I get so hot and sweaty, this jacket works perfectly for me kept me cool ,and I feel safe wearing it due to the protection this jacket provides, but you do have to buy your own back protector , I don't know why this jacket does not come with one , but still love this jacket

Great summer jacket, just used on a week trip around Europe. Saved taking 2 jackets, used liner for trip down to eurotunnel as early morning about 10 degrees. Keeps wind out, then took liner out to travel across Europe temperatures 29-41 degrees. Return home liner in takes 2 mins to fit, perfect

Really pleased with this jacket. Very comfortable and fantastic for riding in hot weather. Mesh panel let in lots of air but its easy to add the inner jacket when needed (I keep it in my top box). Despite mesh construction you still fell safe with CE inserts. Also great when I am giving CBT courses, light weight means you can ware it all day in comfort.

After sweltering last year I looked for something that was up there in terms of quality, style and the fact that RST has never let me down and at a price that is far better value than it's Italian rivals, this jacket was the perfect choice and by removing the waterproof insert the cool air that flows through while still allowing the protection provides the ideal balance of comfort and safety.
