HJC F70 Carbon - Kesta Carbon Blue

We went to Birmingham to try these on and ordered them to be delivered at home. These helmets are a bargin at the moment with the features they come with.
Me and the wife had one and so far so good.

Great helmet , having tried other makes, padding is soft and fits really well. Love the specs groove and super sized visor. It's really light and I think I can feel that difference, the finish is super glossy and with the weave showing in parts looks great. Absolute bargain the staff allowed me to try more than a few lids ! Really pleased , feels better than other higher priced brands I have used in the past. Noise level good , I do wear plugs as well.

I've been wearing this for about 6 months now and I've done two European tours along with regular riding/IAM Observing.

I have to say that overall this is a very good helmet, it's comfortable, it's not too noisy, it's fairly lightweight and it's kept me relatively cool when it's been very hot and kept out some serious wet weather. The pinlock works well and the field of vision is excellent. Initially this was a little tight but after a few months of wearing it's really comfortable and feels completely secure.

I did have a minor problem, the large chin vent slider came off somewhere in Italy, I contacted SBK and they had it repaired and back to me within a week so a brilliant service from them once again which is why I buy most of my stuff through them.

Overall 5*, I can't really mark it down for such a minor issue.

Travelled up to the Harlow store specifically to try on the F70 Carbon. They only had the black helmet in store so I tried on a large. Quite snug, particularly the cheek pads but was impressed by the build quality and light weight. I have owned top of the range Arai and Shoei helmets in the past and in my opinion, HJC is up there. Ordered the orange helmet online (with the 50% reduction) and delivery took me by surprise by coming in a day earlier than expected. Worn on 3 rides so far and helmet living up to expectations - bedded in nicely. Typical high class Sportsbikeshop service both in store and online. Many thanks

A very good all round helmet. Good quality and reasonable weight. Very quiet on a 1200 gsa , comes with pin lock insert and double d ring. Would recommend at the discounted price.

A bit on the tight side. But fit feel an function are spot on. Feels a lot quiter than previous helmets. Forgot how light carbon helmets are, much nicer on the neck. All feature are easily accessible and after some reps are easy to use.

I was looking for a Carbon helmet and found a great offer on sports bike shop. The service was brilliant as always and arrived the next day.
The sizw fit was spot on for me I'm a medium. The quality of the helmet is top notch, the carbon shell looks amazing. The drop down sun visor is simple and easy to use. You get a pin lock lens in the box as well and only takes 5 minutes to fit. Also a choice of breath guards as a bounce. The field of vision is the best I've had and possibly the best in a full face you could get. The visor is big and seals well, only small down point is it could do with being on a ratchet type hinge so you can have it open a touch at times. It's only a minor thing as the ventilation is great .
I'm very happy with my purchase and thanks to sportbike shop for a great service.

Fantastic fit and colour seems to have a bit of wind noise but to much this is mine 3rd helmet of HJC

Ordered what I thought was the correct size, but turned out to be too small. Next size up perfect. Simple returns, refund and re order ?

Over the moon with this purchase, helmet is excellent quality, packed with features and very light.
I was lucky enough to get it at half price (£200) which makes it fantastic value.
Would I have paid £400 ? Probably not, at that price I would have gone for Arai or Shoei but I cannot fault it, it really is a great bit of kit.

Usually items look nicer online but I was pleasantly surprised that this helmet looks as good in real life. Super comfy, great graphics and seems excellent quality. Extra breath guard and pin lock insert included too. Really happy with purchase.

Never had a big name helmet previously, so wasn't sure how it would feel and the general quality. This helmet for the price is superb. Looks great and fits really well. Originally bought the wrong size but the returns process was instant and the replacement arrived in less than 24 hours. Excellent service all round.
