Rukka Nivala 2.0 Gore-Tex Textile Trousers - Black

As my review for jacket. I am 31" leg, waist is 36" and needed a 54 short in order to feel ok with down trousers under. And these really work.

Selected these Rukka trousers for there impeccable quality and incorporated safety features! The outer material has a feel of robustness, while the inner has a ventilated liner!
Also comes with the safety pads in all the right areas ! Waterproof and comes with a quilted liner for the colder days!
Highly recommend.

I wore these trousers the other day and when I was out there was a tremendous down poor and when I arrived home I was as dry as I was when I set off. I know that they are expensive but I would definitely recommend them if you can afford them

I brought these trousers as a set with the Nivala 2.0 jacket. Being honest the jacket and trousers are a disappointment.
I initially ordered the same sizes as my previous suit (from a different manufacturer). The jacket felt too big, while the trousers were too small. I needed to go up two sizes of trousers to get them on...and they feel a little baggy in the knee area when off the bike. When on the bike, they feel OK(ish). I'm very aware of the hip protection.
The down liner is very warm, but a bit of a faff to be putting two sets of trousers on.
I also find I keep catching the inner lining with my feet and pulling it out the bottom of the legs, which then needs tugging back up before you can zip everything up.
None of my previous trousers were this fussy when putting on.
On a positive note the quality of materials and construction is great.
Just a shame that usability is below par for a pair of trousers that cost a grand.

These are heavily armoured trousers so don't expect them to be like a pair of pyjamas! that said they are comfortable to wear and warm when the down liners are used. Obviously, they are totally water-proof which is to be expected but they also have a built-in mesh seat which although fairly thin, definitely improves a day in the saddle.

Really comfortable trousers that work well for all but those very warm days. I haven't used them in the rain yet, but being Rukka I'm sure they will be waterproof.
The Service from SportsBikeshop was outstanding. I reserved and tried quite a few products before deciding on the Rukka. When I finally ordered they arrived within 2 days.

Just returned from a trip away, I needed some new waterproofs before going and I'm really glad I invested in these. Firstly I'm a 38" waist and 32" inside leg, I ordered the 2XL regular and they were a perfect fit. A little stiff when I first started wearing them but they soon loosened off and are now very comfortable to wear. I like the separate, down filled liner pants. They're warm and take away the need for all the fiddly zips you usually get when putting a liner in. I was caught in some heavy and prolonged rain on my trip and am happy to report that these pants were 100% waterproof, I stayed completely dry. Great service and advice from SBS, pants aren't the cheapest but I've always said you get what you pay for.
