Purchased this jacket as a summer jacket but still comes with the necessary protection. Excellent fit and very comfortable

Settled on the Body D30 after looking for a summer jacket the was a good fit and safe. I'm so glad I did as the fit is excellent. Worn it out on the bike a few times now and I'm very happy with it. I found it to be true to fit. Thank you again SBS for a speedy delivery.

Saw this shirt hanging up in a biker cafe and immediately liked the look of it, tried it on and it was too small, I needed the next size up but they didn't have it. Then I thought I wonder if SBS would have it and they did have my size and colour and it was £15 less. I ordered it straight away and received it 2 days later. It fits perfectly very comfortable and makes a nice change from wearing leather, especially on the warmer days and it goes great with the retro triumph look. Not sure how it would handle a rain storm but I am a fair weather rider so all good. I have even wore it when not out on the bike as I like it so much, well done SBS and Merlin for a fantastic product very comfy and well made and British.

I bought this shirt for a bike trip around Gran Canaria. It's perfect, lightweight (considering the inbuilt protection) and has the pockets (including zipped ones). I felt reassured there was armour inside and was surprised this could be a AA ie the same rating as my Merlin touring jacket. The fit is good (go by the chest size), I'm normally a Large in clothes but XL in bike jackets and the XL fitting perfectly. It's so good I would consider buying another of a different colour

Stylish with quality studs and zip, it's great that the side pockets also have zips. ideal for wearing during the summer months, I also wear it on colder days underneath a jacket instead of a fleece. Very well made and should give me years of use.

Give or take, this is probably the best piece of motorbike clothing I have ever owned. It a perfect fit, I love the colour, it's well made and plenty of pockets for all your personal items (keys, wallet, phone etc). Great wind proofing. As far as temperature, anything below 21 degrees C is probably going to be too cold. I have worn at 21 degrees on a windy day and was borderline. I love this product, it's perfect for a warm ride out.

Love this shirt. The relaxed fit and stretch allow freedom of movement and the fabric is soft but feels reassuringly robust. Plenty of useful, secure pockets. It flows air but less so than a mesh jacket. So, if you ride fast or for a long period, it's only a matter of time before wind-chill will get the better of you, unless you carry a windshirt to wear under or a waterproof to put over it. I normally wear just a t-shirt under when the temperature's above 20C. Below that, down to about 15C, I wear a thin fleece and windshirt under it. I'm normally a size L, sometimes M. Turns out the XL gives me the best range of options.

Great overshirt, feels great quality. However, if your looking for a very light shirt this probably isn't for you . Many of the other avaliable shirts are lighter but generally have a lower CE safety rating than this shirt. I would buy other merlin products based on the experience with this product.
