Positive feedback highlights its excellent ventilation, durable construction, and comfortable fit for various body sizes, with features like removable liners for seasonal adaptability and superior protection. However, some customers criticized its waterproofing, with several getting drenched in heavy rain. Many noted sizing issues, recommending checking the size chart carefully. Having rode bikes for over 40 years I have never had a textile jacket before, always leather with waterproofs over top if needed..why oh why didn't I get a textile before !! So I ride all year round what ever the weather, I have been so wet and cold at times, it hurt ...not now though thanks to RST .. I bought an XL the fit is perfect, very warm with just a t-shirt underneath in January not tested in pouring rain yet ( that's coming this week) but I'm sure I will be warm and dry .
Recently brought to try and help keep me warm through these winter months. It's a really good quality jacket. Keeps me as warm as it should and a really good level of protection, feels well made, I would definitely recommend.
This is a well put together jacket. It's heavy, but gives you that feel of protection. For the price and quality It's well deserving my rating. Found the jacket to be extremely warm on a cold day. Have yet to test it in extreme wet weather.
So far I've found this nice and warm. Haven't been able to use in properly warm weather but spent a wet ride and day at Oulton park and it hadn't leaked. The neck closure is I agree quite tight and I'm not using this - I wear a warm neck buff and high viz over jacket so shouldn't get wind in. Comfortable on the bike after riding about 20 miles and all day long comfort. I think it is probably not the lightest but I don't notice it when on
Really nice jacket, well put together with a lot of thoughtful features, I am not convinced it is suitable as a 4 seasons jacket but definitely fine for three. Vents are large and well positioned, my only complaint is that the vents on the arm do offer a bit of stiffness, but this doesn't impact you when riding, mainly when you are off the bike.
Great jacket with many feature, pockets and quality materials. ordering and returns (i ordered several sizes to get the right fit) was effortless and refunds completed easily. Great service form sportsbikeshop
Usual RST quality shines through, moving from a Tracktech 4 textile sports jacket, which was also very good, this is a noticeable step up in quality, function and design. I love it, fits me perfectly, and it matches my new GSA because I'm a tart! As others have mentioned, having the sinaqua waterproofing doubled up with the thermal liner is a little bit of a shame, but I'm yet to suffer from it. Summer time comes, I'll remove the liner and chuck my over the top waterproofs in a bag if it's looking wet. Easy.
Really comfortable and excellent fit using the sizing guide on the website. Warm enough with just base layers underneath when temperatures were in low single figures
I'm a large, so bought an XL thinking it would be better for layering up, checked the size chart just to make sure, yeah all good there according to the chart . Tried the jacket on when it arrived, and it's more like a medium! The jacket said XL on it but it definitely isn't an XL. I would suggest you alter you size charts as it cost me $20.00 to return it because I live in a Scottish island. Not happy! Obviously it appears that you don't care to check the sizing of your products, which in turn means you don't care about your customers.
Not tested in rain yet so can't comment on that, but has been very warm and wholly windprooof in ambient temps of around 10C and around 50 - 60 mph with minimal under garments. Some may find it heavy with the armour inserts, but it hasn't been a problem for me. I don't find it restrictive or uncomortable, but it does fit exact to size as stated, if I buy again I might go up a size, especially if wanting to wear more underneath. So if you are say a 40 inch chest I'd go for at least a 42 inch. So far, all the zips and fastenings are working well and quality appears quite adequate, I'm confident it should last a good time.

After 14 years abuse my old one was looking a little scruffy, so I replaced it with the new version. These are excellent jackets. If it rains the inner liner keeps you dry. Off the bike the inner liner serves as a lightweight jacket. In hot then leave the liners out, open all the vents and it shifts almost as much air as a mesh jacket. This is a proper 4 season jacket.
The best jacket I have had for both comfort and warmth. High quality fastenings with loads of vents and pocket space. I don't do adventuring but ride long miles and this is perfect. Fits really well in the XL I am 34" waist 44" chest reg to long sleeve.
Excellent customer service from Sportsbikeshop. I would normally wear a large so to be sure I ordered both large and ex-large. Before I placed my order, I requested clarification on a FREE return for the unwanted item and as anticipated, Sportsbikeshop were true to their word. The large was returned yesterday so if in doubt - size up.
Bought this as it was considerably cheaper than the black version. I used size chart and measured myself and got the perfect fit. The jacket seems very well made with all the zips running smoothly. I was a bit concerned about the comfort of the jacked with all the body armour and weight of the thing as it's very heavy, this wasn't a problem in the slightest once I put the jack on it feels really comfortable with plenty of movement without restriction. As my first bike jacket I'm very impressed with it.
