I was lucky enough to receive Sportsbikeshop vouchers for Christmas, and if I'm honest I didn't need any new bike gear but I thought I would have a look in my nearest store just in case. Well, oh boy, I'm glad I did amazing new gear, way more stylish and up to date than the stuff I have . Really helpful staff helped me out. I was so pleased with my new jacket, I bought a pair of matching trousers a couple of weeks later.
Fantastic dainese jacket with removable thermal & waterproof liners. Very comfortable when trying on in branch, plenty of pockets & came with free back protector. Ordered trousers to try both on at home - unfortunately when got both products the two just didn't seem to fit me right so sadly returned. .. thought they looked great as a suit but a great buy for someone.
After my first ride wearing this jacket I got caught out in a heavy shower of rain. The jacket kept me dry and warm (with thermal liners inserted). The jacket fits nicely and the strong rubber coated poppers and quality zips are reassuring after having history with poor fasteners with lesser brands. I purchased the matching trousers which can be zipped together at the back keeping wind and rain out of the "bike park". This jacket I think is good value for money. You get what you pay for and this jacket certainly feels superior in quality than other jackets pitched at a similar price.
Great choice available it's a good fitting jacket, well made by a brand you can trust Dainese make great bikers gear. This item has removable lining built in armour and you can zip the trousers to make a great all year round riding gear.
So far so good. good quality and fit expected from Dianese. I was unsure initially about the choice from dianese not to have an outer zip and opt for press / snap buttons instead. I have only had the jacket a short while so cannot quite give it a full review. Only used it once in heavy rain so far and it seemed to let some water through from the bottom right of the jacket. it has pull fasteners to tighten the jacket around the waist so maybe user error. In cold weather it performs well and has kept me warm.

Tempest 3 D-Dry is a men's touring jacket that guarantees its wearer year-round riding safety and comfort. With its D-Dry waterproof membrane, every day is perfect for riding, rain and atmospheric agents no longer an issue. The removable thermal lining ensures comfort on the coldest days and in all conditions. In hot climates and to ensure the proper thermal comfort, two ventilation zips on the sleeves, two air vents on the chest, and two ventilation zips on the back allow the wearer to adjust air flow towards the body effectively and precisely. The highest Dainese safety standards are upheld with Pro-Armor Level 2, Type B protectors on the elbows and shoulders. This is the highest level of limb protection certification, with the largest possible area of coverage. Inspired by the geometries of natural fractals, Dainese Pro-Armor technology allows for maximum protection, with the mobility of a soft protector and ideal ventilation due to a surface that is perforated across 40% of its area.
In 1972 Mr Lino Dainese made some leather motocross trousers, starting a biking brand that has since brought style and innovation to motorcyclists the world over. Working with some of the most evocative names in motorcycle racing, Dainese led the way in the development of leather stretch panels, knee sliders and race suits- cut to suit the rider in a real world riding position. The 80's brought back protectors (with Barry Sheene), composite armour, and more aerodynamic suits; whilst the 90's brought gloves with knuckle armour and the first biking airbag system. Dainese remains at the forefront of motorcycle clothing technology and continues to be the brand of choice for the biggest names in bike racing, all the way up to the greatest rider of all time, Valentino Rossi. Today, Dainese is one of the most recognisable, coolest, and most aspirational motorcycle brands on the planet. With a well deserved reputation for safety that has crossed over into nearly every extreme sport there is, the name Dainese is synonymous with style, protection, comfort and durability.
