I know the price is a bit steep for a pair of socks, but these socks are very comfortable, plus the full length means that your boots don't rub your skin if you are out all day.

It's hard to describe the Eureka moment when I discovered how good these socks are. I'm on my third pair and that's only because I wear them so regularly. Through the winter I was also wearing them for work as it's outside sometimes. They're soft and cosy but not overly thick so you don't need to go up a boot size. The length takes them just to the top of the calf, at least on my god-like proportioned legs ;-) which helps the rest of your leg stay fairly toasty. I've tried many, many socks in the past and none have done as good a job as this unassuming pair from Oxford.

I tend to suffer with cold feet and anything around 5 degrees or lower is not a great experience on a 1 hour commute. I bought these along with a pair of the 'MotoGP winter socks' and these were far better in keeping my feet warm. The others were pretty useless unfortunately.

These socks are so nice and comfortable. These are my go to comfy socks. Such good quality and lovely & warm.

Warm and well made. A little tight at the top but pleased with them and would buy another pair.

Just the correct thickness for a bit of warmth and still thin enough to zip up boots, perfect and a brilliant price. Usual great SBS service and reliabity.

Bought these Oxford thermal socks during the recent cold spell. They aren't thick which I prefer but kept my feet warm riding to to work @ 6.30am everyday.

Bought these as a stocking filler gift (no pun intended lol) for the wife. Shes not used them yet but the quality and feel seems top notch.

Very warm, comfortable, not too thick. I went out on the bike last week when the temperature was 3 deg, my feet were nice and warm.

These are a good length sock, not very thick and not as warm as I expected but at this price I really can't complain
