Bought this as a last minute thought before a tour of 3 weeks into Morocco to go under a mesh jacket. Turned out to be good purchase and worn both under the mesh jacket and separately when cold and performed well. The fact it packs into its own pocket and so takes up little space on the bike is good too. I'm a 38/40 and bought the medium. It's not a cheap purchase but very happy with purchase and quality of product.

Brought to go under Klim Marrakesh Jacket when it gets really cold and it is so warm - been wearing it on it's own, and on cold days just wearing a t-shirt underneath and feel so warm - great product - very happy with it

Klim motorcycling gear is invariably well designed and manufactured and the Maverick is no exception. It is warm, comfortable, and stylish. On the bike it is not too bulky as a mid-layer and off the bike it packs down tightly for stowing in a tail pack or pannier. Unfortunately it does not come with its own compression sack and the is an oversight and surprising for a premium product with an eye watering price tag!

This is an item being returned. It's expensive for basic technology for this money you.get buy specialist outdoor branded down jackets that are also wind and waterPROOF. Klim use the fill power as a selling point but it is such a thin down jacket that the 800 fill isn't that impressive when compared with an 800fill Rab, north face or Berghaus jacket.
The cut is very square and over sized. The length of a medium would suit someone around 6'3" I'm 5'11" and it reaches down the top of my inside leg when stood up, this makes it stick out of the main jacket.
Also the lining material is awful, it feels constantly clammy and unwearable with anything other than a long sleeved top with a high neck. It also lacks any inside pocket, the collar also sticks out way higher than the main outer jackets that klim sell.
Klim have not done well with design of many items they only seem to cater for those with a fuller figure and the lack of adjustable features make them a no go for many people.
