Oxford Montreal 4.0 Textile Jacket - Black / Grey / Red

Needed new replacement jacket, after research, narrowed it down. My previous jacket was three layers, but this does appear to narrow the choice somewhat.
Having used Oxford products and Sportsbikeshop, and having read the reviews.
Be aware of the sizing, use the chart on the website, not what another company's sizing.
Well made jacket, comfortable, although I think after a bit of wear it will get better.
Not had it long enough yet to fully test all the features, IE waterproofing, ventilation. But it all looks and feels as if it will do the job.

Opening the packaging you can immediately feel the quality of the materials and design. I have bought Oxford items before and they have all been functional and well made. This jacket is no exception. Beautifully put together, no loose threads or poor seams. Feels lovely. Very pleased.

After buying an Oxford summer jacket it was a no brainer to go to Oxford for a winter jacket. ..Reading both Rides review and those of people who have bought this jacket gave me the confidence to once again return to Sportsbikeshop's excellent service and value.
The jacket itself is the simply the most comfortable and warmest one I have worn in over 40 years of riding a motorbike.That good I then bought matching trousers!

Purchased Oxford for many years now and tried another brand, but when this system become available extremely cheap via Sportsbikeshop, knowing the service was 2nd to none I had to at least try. When the jacket got to me, it was extremely well-made and waterproof with ventilation slots for the summer and knowing if I wasn't happy with it, I could just return it again. Well done Sportsbikeshop fantastic customer service. Would I recommend Sportsbikeshop? Hell, yeah I would.

Bought for a expectedly wet trip up the west coast of Scotland, first 2 days were 25+C sunshine but was kept cool due to the excellent ventilation provided especially the sleeve/cuff vents. Next 3 days varied from light showers to 4 hours of heavy mist/drizzle and was perfectly dry. First ordered a size up 2xl after reading other reviews and was to big, exchanged for xl with no hassle next day usual SBS efficiency. Early days but so far very happy with this quality jacket.

Have only worn tha jacket once so far but am very pleased with it quality seems very good and it looks good.

Had a problem with the zip which had broken but this wasn't a problem as the jacket came with 2 year warranty & sportsbikeshop replaced without any hassle brilliant shop to do business with & recommend them when buying your biking gear.

Great fit, easy to operate the zips with gloves on and very comfortable.

I recently discovered my old waterproof kit wasn't, so needed some new. After reading some reviews I chose this kit and so far very impressed. On my first ride out got caught in some heavy rain and stayed dry and toasty. Useful pockets and very comfortable fit. Feels like a quality product.

The quality is good for the reasonable price. Great features and feels good when riding. I feel safe and noticed , i try to choose hi-viz elements in a design. Plenty of pockets. I like the front vents hold-back feature. My only grip is : no back protector. I had to use one from my other jacket. Nothing major , im satisfied. All in all , a worthwhile purchase. A nice addition to my biking ensembles. Thankyou.

Very comfortable and warm, do find the neck a little restrictive, need to be advised at sale of avaible back protectors

I am normally size large but with fitting a back protector & wanting to wear a fleece underneath for when I do my volunteering job the large was a bit tight so got the x-large. The jacket is comfortable & with the liner fitted it feels warm. Not used in the wet yet (hence 4 stars) but all the other Oxford stuff I have has been really good so I expect it to be fine.

Love this jacket, warm, comfortable and waterproof only issue is neck is tight when wearing a neck warmer and zip sometimes doesn't connect easily.
