Knox Mens Urbane Pro Trousers - Black

These summer mesh trousers are the best thing I've brought in a long time. love em, keeps me cool. Pity they only make one size as legs too long for me but not an issue though. Very good quality well made, would recommend friends other riders to get these Excellent.....

Great with matching jacket for the hot weather.
Only niggle is that the belt loops could be wider or there could be more of them. The trousers tended to drop below the belt line where there was a gap in the loop. I think I need some braces with them.

As others have said, they're thick, and a little heavier than I thought. Much heavier than the single layer jeans I have. But the mesh is amazing at flowing air. It allows good airflow from the boot area as well. So if you tuck in your boots, this will still mean your feet are somewhat cool.

Be aware though, you'll feel how hot your engine is a lot more all of a sudden. I never noticed when I wore jeans how hot it got.

Solid summer trouser, don't expect miracles when in a riding position exactly, but if you lift slightly, stand on pegs, or part legs a bit wider, the air flows very well to the middle area.

I bought these for a trip to the Alps.

They feel thick and heavy duty, giving that feeling of toughness you want from Knox.
They didnt feel cold with air blasting into them at 18degrees at 70mph as I thought though. The need for thickness for protection does seem to mean these are actually far warmer than I would like.
Part of me wishes I'd tried the single layer jeans instead.

Fit wise, the legs are slim. I had to size up to avoid a tight fit around my thighs and knees (which created an uncomfortable crease behind my knee when bent), so now they fit comfortably, but will fall down within seconds without a belt. That said, I do have thick legs apparently.

Complaints aside, I'm happy with them. The warmth issue is one I don't think we can easily fully solve, as I certainly dont want knox compromising the protection of their products.

Ordered 2 pairs in different sizes to try. Very good product BUT they only come in 33" leg length. SBS dealt with the refund as quickly as usual and I contacted Knox who have shortened the length for me. It cost £5 and the postage. I could have had it done locally but decided to let the guys who make them shorten them. Outstanding service from both SBS and Knox.

Brilliant true fit and extremely comfortable. Just need the summer weather to really test the potential.

Well made trousers with good level of protection, great style and comfortable for walking when off the bike. Can be easily layered with leggings underneath and waterproof over trousers making then an all year round garment.

Been after a pair of these for a while, the price was putting off, another site had a Ltd time offer on them too good to miss, sportsbikeshop price matched and delivered the following day. Not the weather for the pants at the moment but I expect the usual knox quality, as for sizing I'm a 34/36 " waist and the size large is perfect for me. so bring on the summer

Great trousers true to size with a bit of stretch but long in the leg had to have them taken up

This is a brilliant option if you can't decide or need to try multiple sizes. I ordered 4 different types and sizes of trousers the day before and they where in store lunchtime the following day. Finally chose the Knox. Slightly long, other than that great fit.

Well done for stocking Knox products.
In my case they fit perfectly 3xl, wore them once and it was like I'd had them for years, only criticism is sizing chart is not very informative but for me they are true to "my size".

Super comfortable, perfect fit and cool. Feel protected even though I have a dodgy knee and wish I had purchased them ages ago. Goes perfectly with Knox Utility Shirt.

They a very breathable with large mesh panelling but still feels very strong. the material has a fair amount of stretch. for me the knee armour was in the right place despite the inseam being a bit long for me,
