HJC C80 - Bult Orange

As I already own a HJC helmet I was tempted into buying the C80 as I I fancied a flip up helmet to make passport control a bit easier and less faff. The helmet fits very well, the flip release is easy to operate and it comes with a pinlock in the box as well as a storage bag. The helmet arrived very promptly as is usual. All in all I'm very satisfied with both the service and the helmet.

Good value and comfortable but no good if you've got a Roman nose…
Lots of wind noise and stupid bulky quick release buckle. Peak which is for debris protection off road just about works as a sun visor on road and helps with heavy rain. Would recommend if the above don't aggravate

I purchased this helmet to go touring and so far it does what is days on the tin. Nice snugg fit. It's an advantage being a flip up adventure style lid. Some say it's a little heavy but I found it not too bad. The peak does vibrate a little but fortunately I have a gs with a large screen so I can hid behind. The drop down sun visor is great feature

Visor has 3 positions.

Flip front has a "click" in the up position but doesn't lock in the up position.

Foam liner has cut outs for speakers and channels for wires
I fitted a Cardo Spirit with no issues.

Front vent accepts a good flow of air. Top vent works well.

Chin strap is comfortable and fully adjustable.

Great value.

Love the helmet, dark visor drop down is really good, saves wearing sunnies or separate visor.
The peak is the only negative, vibrating at high speed creating noise in the helmet.
Not the quietest of helmets, but priced at £150 it's a great lid.
Vents could be a bit better as my head has been sweaty at the end of the ride.
Overall I'd recommend the helmet, but bear in mind the negatives compared to the Arai or Shoei helmets which are two to three times the price but have less wind and vibration noise.

A bit heavy, also noisy. I love the way it accepts the sena intercom

Great fitting, comfortable helmet. Looks great and the flip up function is really useful. It's also not as bulky looking as some flip up helmets which is an added bonus. It comes with a pin lock which works faultlessly, and it was really simple to fit the Sena 20S Evo intercom to. The peak is also removable, so the lid could be used on any style of motorcycle. Overall I would definitely recommend this helmet. Always great service from Sportsbikeshop too.

My 1st HJC helmet and very pleased. also my first flip up helmet.
Well made and very comfortable. The mechanism for opening/closing is easy to use and solid.
Wind noise is acceptable and vision is excellent.
