I previously had the X-Lite X-1001, found this to be a really good helmet, but it was getting old and had had a lot of use. so decided to buy another, but they were discontinued. so i chose X-Lite X-1005 - Elegance N-Com Metal White from SportsBikeShop.co.uk and I'm really pleased with it. SportsBikeShop.co.uk is also the cheapest on the net, and fast delivery too. So a big thank you to SportsBikeShop.

Great quality at a very good price

This is my first flip front after years of arai full face. Impressed with the build quality. Still not quite used to the different way it handles when putting it on an off, but quieter than the arai and has a fantastic field of view with a pin lock insert. Size 60cm was bang on for me. Recommended.

Love this helmet. This is my third X Lite and is actually the only helmet that fits me properly as I am an XXS in size. The 1005 is even better than the 1004. The wider field of view is brilliant, as is the ventilation, which I shall really appreciate come the summer, just means I need to tuck my neck tube in a little bit more on those colder days.
Padding is super cosy.

A top quality, high specification helmet at a good price. I had the
X-1004 before and knew I could wear it all day in total comfort, so when this came out it was a natural replacement. The comfort is the same but the quality is even better and the specification higher. So far I can't find anything to fault.
