Good value, always buy alpinestars if you want performance and top quality. Tried other makes but always come back to alpinestars. They tend to fit me well as I don't like baggy clothing.

Great summer trousers, not too pricey and very comfortable.

Run a bit small, I'm 34 waist in jeans and L/34 are very fitted so you might want to size up if you don't like a slim fit.

I have been looking for a pair of textile trousers that are suitable to wear in warmer temperatures and, at last, I have found them.
Well made, comfortable to wear, even over extended periods on a variety of bikes. The AST-1 V2's also provide a much more trouser like feel, rather than the often bulky fit of many other brands.
Sizing was the only issue, although waist sizes seem much more accurate, the leg lengths do appear a little off. I am a long legged, 6ft 3in guy, but found the long was too long by some margin. However, with the quick and efficient returns/exchange system that Sportsbikeshop operate, these was relatively quick and easy to remedy.
I ended up with a medium leg length, which puts the knee protectors in the perfect position.
Happy to say well worth the money.

Great pants, comfortable to wear during long rides. A great price from a top seller. However the length is way too long for the sizes quoted, I am just over 6 ft tall and had to go for the short alternative after trying the long and regular ones.

I've been wearing these trousers for just over 2 weeks and they are top quality. I would recommend wearing some leggings underneath during winter time. Very water proof also. I am normally a Large but when I tried them on they were a little tight, so I recommend going one size UP.

The service from Sportsbikeshop, is second to none. I had these trousers ordered, tried on, returned and received the next size up all within 4 days. With no extra cost or hassle. This is now my go-to place for any bike gear.

Fit is true to size and the knee and hip protectors sit in the right place. I'm 5'7" and 30S in all my trousers and 30S in these is perfect. They feel fine wearing them over my regular trousers or with just a base layer - neither too tight on the bike nor baggy off it. There's no thermal liner, but that's ok as I never used it with my previous trousers.

Only downside is that the hip protectors are not included.

Seem good so far, zip to my A-Star jacket and cover my boots. Knee protection flexible and seems thin but is CE2. Other reviews say perfect fit, not quite for me, I am pretty average 5'10", 74kg normally 32R sometimes 30R. These were both snug and couldn't swing a leg over and that's without anything underneath. Wanted them for work so now got 34S fine with Chino under. Hope this helps some.

Great pair of trousers, I usually struggle getting trousers that fit due to my height. But these fit perfectly. I like the pockets and air vents.

Would highly recommend them, seem like great quality as well.

Great product as usual from Alpinestars.
The "Long leg" is really long. I have a 35" inside leg and they were especially long even being worn over my boots there were excess material.
The additional pockets and air vents work well and keep you cool. Even on warm days.
But as always, the Sports Bike Shop were there to sort out an alternative size.
All in all, a great product and supplied with great customer service.

Very good quality and fitting that is true to size. I haven't been in the wet yet so I can't comment on that but all in all I'm very happy with them.
