RST Pro Series Paragon 6 CE Textile Trousers - Black

Another fantastic experience with Sportsbikeshop.
Ordered a few pair of varied brands/sizes and preferred the fit and quality of the RST trousers.
The trousers are very comfortable, with adjustable knee armour and quality removable braces.
Delivery and return process is the best I have experienced, with expert helpful advice on the phone when required.
Keep up the great work, you are the best.

Excellent strides, warm at 6'c, even better if you put boots inside them, comfortable, great zip together, almost like a leather suit for fit, superb.

Like the jacket, these are Swiss Army knife of trousers. I keep the over shoulder straps attached, but the fit is true enough not to really need them. Very waterproof, no water in yet and been wearing in windy hammering rain. Really comfortable and block out the elements so well you almost feel like you're not outside. And you don't even feel the rain pelting you. In lower single figure temps I have found these keep me warm. Almost too warm in the double figure temps. Looking forward to getting the liners out as things warm up. There was only the option for black when I bought these. I don't know if there are other options but it would be nice to have had a pair with flouro added to match the jacket pro series black/flo jacket I bought.

Ideal bike trousers. Great quality and well made. Thermal liners can be taken out for warmer days. Comfy when riding and feel safe and warm in the windy weather. Good fit and high waisted. Good padding for safety. Knees have stretch for bending. Pockets and love the waist fastening. Can alter if feels a bit tight. Regular length feels long but when boots are on and riding they are ideal. Bought a few things now from sportsbikeshop and they are a great company to purchase from. I'll be back if I need anything further.

This is my first time buying bike gear and I was amazed at the quality of the product and the quick delivery. The thermal lining comes out which makes these trousers brilliant for both summer and winter riding and the price was great compared with other sites. I will definitely use Sportsbikeshop again in the future.

I had to get new trousers as movers apparently lost my other pair. My last two sets have been from the Paragon range. I went with them as they were at a good price and they haven't disappointed. Solid, well made with good padding. Proper waterproof too.

First experience of Sportsbikeshop did not let me down.
Needed all riding gears as flogged bike related items a few years ago, so I was in a budget.
These trousers were a reasonable price, but what you get for your money is good.
The build quality and fit, for me, is excellent.
The waist fastening has no way of popping open due to the Velcro strap either side.
No wind or cold has penetrated yet and the trousers feel comfortable when riding.
Haven't tried the vents yet, but these should be handy.
All in all, good value and a quality product.
Take advantage of Sportsbike shop ethos and try on plenty.

Treated myself to a new helmet in the sportsbikeshop sale, fantastic as always ended up buying some new jeans too.

RST paragon pro series trousers are much better than the cheaper alternative from RST . Worn once on a very cold day. They did the job very well. Went a size down as my previous RST trousers were a bit big and baggy. These fit better and are not too baggy. Good quality at a fantastic price.

Bought to replace my old ventilator trousers. They are little more bulky but feel much better constructed.
Ordered in size XL , I'm ideally a 35" waist in denim jeans and would say they're a 36" but can adjust with velcro strap + the braces are an added help.
Not tried them on the open road yet, waiting on better weather.

I needed some trousers so I could get out in the coldest part of the year, always having cold legs in such weather. I don't ride in winter rain unless caught out so can't comment on the waterproofing.
These have a good, thick lining and seem to do the job well, so far anyway. I've been out a few times down to low digit temps on shortish test rides of about 20-30 miles and come back warm. The only thing I would say regarding the lining, is that it's nylon backed, as all seem to be, regardless of male, and if I'd designed it I would have put a softer and less sticky feeling backing fabric to the wadding. Nylon simply feels that way. This comment however is generic and fitting to all motorcycle gear I've seen so far.
They are a good weight, isn't everything for motorcycling, with soft level 2 hip protectors and level 1 knee. I've actually changed both knee and hip protectors to SAS TEK tripleflex to give a bit softer and more manoeuvrable feel to the protection, as I have with all my gear, though the originals are certainly not stiff at all.
The only uncertainty with these is the likely condensation issue in warmer weather mentioned by other reviewers and touched on by myself above. They're not as breathable as goretex, but then neither are they they price of goretex! And they are after all WINTER trousers and in that totally fit for purpose. The lining zips out but I haven't had the good fortune to try them in warm weather yet. On the bike and in cold weather they're wonderful and have extended my bike possible days. They are vented on the thighs and probably the vents should be opened except when actually in the really cold conditions on the bike. At least they have a vent, unlike most at this price point. These do the job I bought them for, so I'm happy. The quality of manufacture is excellent. £129 is a superb price for them. I don't regret buying these at all and I would recommend/ have already recommended.

I love these trousers so far, I am normally a size 36s but found a 38s fit slightly better, the braces are and excellent feature and absolute game changer, They are also nice and warm. I haven't been out in the rain yet so can't speak on how good that will hold up. I have an RST jacket and the zip connects perfectly. As others have mentioned it could benefit from more/ bigger pockets but, they can fit my samsung A54 which is a decent sized phone and my wallet too.

My second pair of RST textiles, have the vented version of these, but they were getting chilly in certain regions. However, these are so far brilliant, great fit I am a 30 and these are slightly larger than usual but not in a bad way. Love the braces, not had them before, the zip tags are larger than usual which is a thing I didn't know was a thing I would notice, so far ridden in -2 and they were cosy (did have base layer on) also like zip effortlessly into my RST S 1 jacket. Arrived quickly as per from SBS Good quality and reassuring have a heavy feel about them great price for the product, would recommend and buy again
