Klim Hardanger Gore-Tex Textile Suit - Tan

I bought this suit after several years with an Aerostich Roadcrafter. This is not nearly as easy to put on or remove, but makes up for that by actually being waterproof! The Klim is a well made and comfortable suit which, due to the Gore Tex laminate, is also fully waterproof (so far! I haven't ridden for long periods in the rain yet). It is relatively light and fits very well.
A note on fitment. I'm about 5ft 10 and 75kg. After much research on the internet I ordered a large regular. Even with layers underneath this was too big, so I exchanged for a medium regular which fits really well.

I love my suit. I however struggled initially with the sizing. The small was a good fit and it allowed me to have my street clothes on, however when I sat on the bike the suit restricted my movements. Sports shop where great they allowed me 2 exchanges. I recall the lady who served me on the 18th sep 21,( I was the first customer for the day) saying we will support you until you are comfortable and happy with your product'. I eventually settled on the medium regular fit, which is slightly bigger but a very capable suit. this size also saw the benefit on not having the trouser section rise when I sat on the bike so only my feet show not part of my shin when I am sat on the bike. I tried it in the rain yesterday and I was as dry as they come. I am loving the suit and I had first class service from Sportbikeshop staff in all my visits.

Having owned a KLIM Badlands suit for many years I decided to purchase the Hardanger one piece suit as I was looking for the convenience of a "walk in" suit whilst maintaining the safety and waterproof characteristics of a KLIM product. Sadly my original suit developed a persistent and nasty leak around the crotch and KLIM have provided a replacement under warranty. Provided the new suit is waterproof (yet to be tested) I would give it an EXCELLENT rating, however, the jury is out until the riding season.
