SENA SF4 Bluetooth Headset - Dual

This is a good basic Intercomm which means I can now talk to my friend whilst out riding, and listen to my SatNav! It was a bit fiddly to get it all setup, though it is now working as designed.

Fitted easily on to my Shark D Skwal 2. I used the push on clamp rather than sticking it on.
The HD speakers are much better than the standard speakers. I linked up with 2 other riders on Sena sets using the Sena App to connect. Took a few attempts to get the 3 of us connected but I think that was more user error than the kit.

Had the Dual SF4 for a couple of months now and my partner is delighted with them. As someone used to talking she doesn't really like the world of silence that comes with being a pillion. They are clearly audible up to 70mph and link easily to phone and satnav. We haven't tried the radio yet or linking to other headsets. Battery life is brilliant for such a slim unit and we have yet to run out, this after 5/6 hour rides . As others have noted the weatherproofing aspect could be suspect, but out the other day were caught in heavy rain for an hour or so with no problems. The reason I've given them a 4 is when using thick gloves the buttons can be hard to find, but it might get easier with more use. Overall a very good product that I would recommend.

Bought this for a tour with 2 other guys, haven't used it for that yet but works as advertised so far. Battery life is great and quite discreet on my lid. lovely!!!

Excellent service from SBS as usual. This SENA unit was very easy to fit, with a choice of HD or Normal speakers. Instructions are fairly comprehensive, but have a major failing in not mentioning the fact that to pair a mobile, one has to keep hold of the mode button - ignoring the 'Intercom Pairing' voice prompt. However, SENA support were quick to reply to my request email, and clarified just what to do. Sound quality is very good, and once set up is easy to use with the large button format.

Great product, robust and great sound quality for communication

I installed this in to a Shoei Glamster and the chunky HD speakers were too thick. However I installed them into an MT Thunder and they are perfect. The std speakers are much slimmer but not loud enough. I found the unit a tad annoying to use without the App. The app isn't perfect but once you have your buddies connected it remembers them. Once this is all working and set up though it's a brilliant low profile little unit. Buttons are easy to use with gloves. Battery life is awesome and Bluetooth connection has been perfect.

My boy rides pillion with and also solo so I bought the duel set. They are expensive but so far very good. I've not used them yet in extreme weather but they were fine with a heavy shower. Sound quality is good and the controls need to be learnt but aren't too difficult for the basics. Overall excellent kit which I hope will last a long time

Bought the new Sena SF4 after reading various reviews, plenty of choice and large variation in price and ability, easy to fit, quite straightforward to use, in the house sounded good, only one ride so far and no pillion, radio was fair as was Navigator, the large buttons are the easiest to use from all the comms sets I have used, battery life is excellent,longer term will be the test but well pleased with the initial performance.
