Great jeans, I have got these with the hip armour also, which is almost unnoticeable! Quite a change from previous types I've tried.

I think there's only really one negative with the jeans, and that's that there's a metal zipper for the knee inserts on the inside of the leg which could potentially scratch your tank! (bit of a design flaw if you ask me). I will be cutting off the metal tabs and tying on a short piece of leather

I bought these as I wanted to try jeans rather than leather or textile. I only ride in good weather as my bike is nearly as old as me at 60.
They are pretty heavy due to the material and lining but that's understandable.
They have a soft feel and are pretty stretchy with pads in pockets at the knees. They were affordable and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
They arrived next day so well done SBS!

Great but not perfect

Overall these are good jeans, the fit is on the large size, so I would try a size down. The knee protectors are a pain to centre on your knees, I prefer the shaped armour like my triumph jeans have.
They are a heavy jean that feels well made, I've worn mine a few times so too late to change sizes, the black colour description is wrong, they are more if a dark grey not black.
I use them occasionally when I go to work on my bike, can be a bit warm but I do fine wearing them all day, all in all pretty good jeans.

This jeans dose it job not really comfortable and only comes with knees armour (hip protectors sold separately for around £25). But SBS provided 5 stars service.

Excellent product, the fit is excellent and having knee pads that can be removed easily when off the bike has been godsend. The jeans are pretty much lined up to the ankle (AA rated) so great protection and I can confirm water resistance in a light shower, pretty pleased with the purchase so far!

I purchased these jeans after seeing them advertised at £50 off, I paid £99.99. Good service from sportsbikeshop. The jeans were comfortable & fit well, unfortunately after using twice the zip fastener broke, on inspection it's disappointing a good pair of jeans were let down by a cheap poor quality zip, sent back for refund which sportsbikeshop have done no problem.

Being an adventure rider for many years and now having a custom I wanted something casual. I purchased a pair of Merlin water resistant jeans and was quiet impressed following a down pour so thought I'd give these a try. Good fit and good quality. With thin thermals underneath they've been great winter riding. Recommended.

Great quality riding jeans

I did a lot of research to find a pair of AA rated jeans (the garment had been tested,not just the armour). These have it all, aside from the fact that the hip armour is not provided. The fit was slightly larger than I thought as I ordered my normal jeans size, but fine with a belt. Very comfortable materials used and brilliantly made. Knee armour is very thin and comfortable. External zipper for the knee armour is very handy, so you can remove it without having to remove the jeans. Nice touch with the length being slightly longer to accommodate when legs bent on the bike. I used the turn up with built in subtle reflecting strips. Ride in temperature around freezing with a base layer and didn't feel cold. Not bad without the base layer in the cold too. Should be ok in summer I hope. Seem great so far!
